Week 2

First of all i am sorry for no post last week so I will make up for it this week.

Last week was a blow out for two teams last week one in each division. They were SS and GR!

SS were at the wrong end of a shock 5-0 defeat to BP with the trouble maker Pommy playing. UO steam rolled GR 5-0 and they might fancy there chances this week too. In the Diamond Division AP (now known as P2P) defeated PFN 3-2. Pool Fiction had a team out full of the big names, Ogges, Jeremy, Brian to name three but AP had there number.

ICA came into UIC with big things predicted for this team. They came up against a very tough TC team but were able to JUST squeeze past them, thanks to Nish, Shan and Conor B. Saf also played vs his old team but was unable to make it 4-1. TC will take great comfort that they are matching up to the 'big dogs'.

BP wiped the floor with a SS team that included Steven, Jon and Jay. Unreal but credit to BP they played a good game and deserved to win the match 5-0.

The other match was a failing SP side lose to LPL who again look strong this season with Ant and the Asshole to name just two. They will be right up the come the end of the season.

In the Emerald Division it all went wrong for Freedom last week losing to Money In The Bank 3-2. They will really wanna put that behind them this week as they play DS, more on that later. MIB look like they might cause a few problems to teams this season.

SPS suffered due to players who were down not showing up so I had to go with players at last minute and it showed as they didnt know where they were playing how to set up cam or nothing but 5 players showed and DS took the victory and well deserved it was too.

GR got spanked by my favorites to win the group UO and they looked good. Bud stood out for me and will really need stopping this season.

Ok on to the predictions

Straight Shots vs Play2Perfection

This is going to be a interesting match up because have P2P got the games in the be able to qualify to play this week, because its a very new league. SS need to bounce back from there defeat from last week and if they show with the likes of Jon, Jamie and Tonz then they should be able to do this. If P2P are eligable then it will be tough.

Sexy Poolerz vs ICA

SP are not the team they used to be for some reason. They are having a shocking season in MLP and IPA they barely made the playoffs. ICA on the other hand are doing very well and with Nigel running the IL now they will be up there at the end of the season. I expect WPC MVP Nish to have a great season and as for SP just look towards the likes of Ketan and Shaggyman to make the challenge.
Having said that I will go for the shock of the week and give this to the underdog

Pool Fiction vs Brit Pool

PFN are going to have to bounce back after there shock defeat last week but they are coming into a match with a team who shocked SS. Brit Pool beat SS 5-0 last week and they will fancy there chances against PFN who will need to bounce back with a victory if they want to keep up with the likes of ICA and LPL this season. I think BP have good players now in Pommy and Tim is coming into form so I will go for a tight victory this week.

True Champs vs LPL

LPL are one of the teams to beat this season. Ant has a great lineup and against a team in TC he will have to show with his strongest team because TC are giving as good as they get at the start of this season. They just lost to ICA last week but took satisfaction in Safdar losing against him old team. This should be close but the form book will rule.

ED

Ultimate Outlaws vs Simply Pool Souls

This match is a tough one to call as both teams are looking and can make the playoffs this season. There is history between Me and UO and with ex SPS admin TJ apparently at UO now there is spice added to this match and I expect drama but lets hope there is no drama tonight and me being biased I have a team showing this week which i prefer to call my strongest team and that is why i will go for the score i am.

SPS win 4-1

MIB vs Georgia Rebels

This match is going to be tough and I know little about GR but they are always there competing. MIB have good player who are still largely unknown.

Match of the Week

Freedom vs Dead Strokes

This is the Match of the week by a long way. FR are very good and DS are the better team! They are the ones that can take FR down again this week and with the players DS have they look great.

Welcome to UIC Predictions and I am first of all sorry for not posting lately butI have had a awful lot on my mind.

Last week was very interesting with Big wins for LPL (5-0 vs MP) and XP (4-1 vs BP) TC beat a EC team who really don't deserve to be in interleagues, with the amount of no shows they have. X8B and CM got narrow 3-2 wins over FR and SP respectively.

The ED is still close but atleast its sorted out. No more byes and wins last week for MIB (3-2 over SS), UO (3-2 over CS) and GR (3-2 over TCC) This week UO and SS both get the week off so leaving 2 matches which I will do first.

MIB vs TCC

MIB got there win over SS last week and Rich has this league active and pumping out the tourneys and in return the players are starting to show for him week in and week out. This league is going places in my view and with TCC on a bit of a downer after last week, it looks pretty good for MIB who if they win or if TCC win to be fair will move into a playoff spot as GR and CS play each other. MIB might be behind on games won but there the stronger team.

GR vs CS

Well CS were deemed the second best team in the Division, but although I hate them UO are proving to be the best with SS second (both have a week off) GR are plugging away and might fancy there chances here as they are slowly working hard and coming up with the goods. CS need to re-focus and get there season back on track and I think they will come out on top of this close encounter today.

Diamond Division

Extreme Cues vs Magic Pool

Score: 6-0 MP

XP vs X8B

This will be a good close match that XP Capt Cubby(just joking KErry) I mean Kerry will wanna win, because a win of 4-1 or 5-0 would take them second where as a 3-2 would bring them level with X8B. James the X8B captain will wanna make sure LPL are not allowed to get away, and for this reason will really try to bring there best players. I dont think XP will get second spot here they will win though.

LPL vs CM
Shock Special

Time to annoy Ant and say CM can win this! They came through a tough battle against SP last week and LPL have had it relatively easy. Ant is a very good Captain and has good players to choose from but CM are just starting to pick it up again and if the time is there for LPL to lose it will be this week so I will stick my neck on the line and say

TC vs BP

TC were big winners last week and this week they come up against a faultering BP team who need to really step it up a gear, like TC has to be fair. Activity is there again and if TC can find last weeks form there will only be one winner unless BP find something from somewhere that they have lost for a while.

FR vs SP

My old team against the team I moved to but havent played for yet. FR and SP in UIC are very close. Last week SP lost a Epic encounter against a CM team who had just too much but then I blame the Captain Snooky :P FR also lost but they are in the better shape and should just about pull this off.

Hi all I wasn't going to do UIC preds but here they are as some people think im biased, which I am not let me clear a few things up. First of all I have no fucking idea who Timm is but I am guessing its the GIT Prediction guy, who I have no idea of, lol

And SS were the best team int he division, TCC beat them and wtg for that.

Predictions:

Brit Pool vs Magic Pool

BP just squeezed past MIB in IPA today where as MP beat XP so what ever I predict will be wrong but to make sure im not being 'BIASED' MP have a good squad of players aswell BP. If both show up with enough firepower then it will be close.

Score: 3-2 BP

Sexy Poolerz vs True Champs

SP and TC are two under achieving teams and if both show up and perform it should be close again and so I aint 'BIASED' I wont go into much more detail.

Score: 3-2 SP

Freedom vs Cue Masters

This will be close but so I am not 'BIASED' I wont go into much more detail :D

Score: 3-2 CM

Extreme Cues vs Xtreme Poolerz

EC wont show but so I aint 'BIASED' Iw ill say they will show and it will be a close match.

Score: 3-2 XP(however EC wont show because they are retards) 5-0 XP

LPL vs X8B

This match will again be close. But so I am not called 'BIASED' I will say nothing more until my point is proven.

Score: 3-2 to someone

This is me saying if you are going to complain that these prediction are 'BIASED' then screw whoever wants to because I dont give a damn. My preds will be back next week with some shocking revelations have fun

Week 6 of UIC

So welcome to week 6 after the week that never was really for week 5 as The match of the week in the Emerald Division saw SS defeat CS 4-1 but it was closer than that and all intense and purposes Kev should have lost to Amanda, In my view they left out there strongest player in Bri_tard and with the addition of Trent playing for CS now they will be looking for revenge as the interview which will go up after my DD recap will show.

Straight Shots if the finish above 70% this season wont be the same as when Cue Masters did it because CM had almost a full ED league with X8B and MP and BP in there for company.

The Diamond Division last week saw Freedom beat Brit Pool 5-0, TC beat CM in a shocker 4-1. LPL beat MP 5-0 and XP won 3-2 vs SP.

The Interview
with Dave Captain of Cyber Sharks

Jason: Welcome to this weeks 'Under The Spotlight' with Dave (highway_bong66) from this season's surprise package Cybersharks. First of all thank you for agreeing to participate in this interview, I want to start by asking oyu what your overall thoughts are of UIC and tell me how Cyber Sharks became interested in UIC when there are so many other interleagues out there? Why UIC?

Dave: Well so far so good as far as UIC goes, I think the competion is great..Im pretty much of a quiet guy , so i do a lot of observing as opposed to all the yappin i see in the lobby, still pretty early in the season, so i have no complaints, im really pleasently surprised on how well were doing.. As far as choosing UIC, over the other interlgs out their, was just by past experience.. Many moons ago i was co-capt aka capt of X8b, so i was familar with the way they do things, i also think UIC is pretty organized, and was always a fan of their tourney page

Jason: That is very good to hear! You have a good set of players and you are pretty unknown in the interleague world as a league. I have the pleasure of being in this league. What can you tell the other teams about your league you represent. Who are the players to watch in Cyber Sharks and do you think if you finish in the top 4 this season and maybe even win it, could you keep pace with the big boys in the Diamond Division?

Dave: Well as we all know , anyone can beat anyone anytime anywhere, if the balls just fall right.. i do know for sure theirs not a cocky person in the whole lg, thats a big reason why im still in this lg.Arrogance and attitude, are two big turnoffs for me.As far as naming players to watch out for, i won't pinpoint anyone in particular, cause i don't wanna offend anyone that i don't name, just be sure that come sat, i will roll in that room with 5 people that will give anyone a run for their money, and lastly if we do win it and advance to diamond division , then i guess they better watch out to..lol

Jason: Again a very good answer, you lost pretty heavily to Straight Shots last time out. How do you think it will go for the rest of the season? Are you looking forward to some revenge maybe when you meet Straight Shots again?

Dave: yeah we got spanked by ss, ill be the first to admit that, buts its not like their 5 players ran the tables on us, they just happened to knock the 8 in before us, and u better believe i look forward to some revenge, hopefully next time, will be the winners, they were good matches, and i think their capt is a really nice guy, Nigel i think his name is..as far as the other competion, theirs a few teams we haven't played yet, so its a wait and see scenerio, and for the teams we have played already, they were all good games

Jason: Ok again thanks for the answer, this is the point in the interview i ask the same question. Pick a guy or girl to watch? I would throw a few at you like Bri and Tony(lilhomie) or someone else of your choice. Also tell us a name no one would expect to have a good season and why. Basically who are your clutch players that you can always rely on to win under extreme pressure. Every team has them, but who are yours?

Dave: i think Dave {hustlin_outlaw} and Jim{cia.duck}, are two good players to very much watch out for of the clutch players, tony of course is definitly a bonus to us and Jim{personel _turmoil}, although hes been away lately, but expect to see him soon, but as i said earlier, all my players that have joined, can beat anyone on any given day.

Jason: ok i got 2 more questions then thats it. Where will Cybersharks finish and out of both divisions what team have you been impressed with and why?

Dave: i think we have a very good chance of making the playoffs ,at the beginning of the season, i would have said no way in hell, bvut with the games that we have played and the players that have joined and expressed interest, i think we got a very good shot at playoffs.. the team that im impressed with is X8b, mainly because ive got history with the lg, and i know a few of the players, they jumped into the diamond division, and it looks like they haven't taken any prisoners, pretty impressive

Jason: Well Dave its been a pleasure interviewing you I wanna wish you the best of luck but leave you with my signiture question... What is your favourite cheese and how do you like it and why?

Dave: oh by all means its smoked gouda and i like it stuffed in a chicken breast, topped with a brandy peppercorn sauce

Cue Masters vs Xtreme 8 Ball

So CM with a big loss last week come up against the surprise favourites X8B. James the 2nd best captain in X8B has a well oiled well drilled team in X8B and will always bring his A team to the table as X8B go hell for Leather with LPL for the titleas each team are 2 wins ahead of Cue Masters and Xtreme Poolerz. CM will be looking to bounce back from this latest set back last week by hoping they can destroy X8B. This however is nto going to be possable.

Brit Pool vs Xtreme Poolerz

These are two of the three teams that could catch LPL and X8B. XP are always around about the playoffs(going by the PFN seasons too) and there Captain KERRY(got that in kerry) has a good squad of players to choose from. Brit Pool look liek there on there way back to form. They beat MP in WPC but then drew with SPS. In IPA they got a 3-3 draw with LS today theres always a chance they could sneak a win out but XP are in sparkling form and I cant see past them.

Sexy Poolerz vs Latino Pool Legends

SP are going to show up and win big one of these days, this is the day in my view, i have no idea why or how because I am picking them to beat undefeated LPL and Ant sure as hell wont like me for that lol. If SP show with there usual WPC players, when availiable on a saturday then they will really have a go at LPL and I dont think LPL will be ready this week. As Usual I await Ant with the LPL winning scoreline.

Magic Pool vs True Champs

So plain and simple if TC pull off yet another hoodini act and beat MP they will go into a share of 4th place, not bad for a league who never was in it at the start. MP onthe other hand are going along just nicely under captain Chris and will no doubt wanna take TC to the cleaners, and if they do MP will be right up there with the likes of XP and CM. If both 'A' teams show and the fact this is off cam will mean TC will give a good account of themselves.

Freedom vs Extreme Cues

Freedom on the back of a fine win last week play EC this week who very rarely show with good players. Thats it lol

ED one match SS vs TCC

This is a mismatch I have issues with some things but I will keep them to myself as SS stroll to the Title that if they dont win can only go to one other Team CS!

Week 5 of UIC

Hello and Welcome to Week 5 of UIC and where yet another team has dropped out of UIC and I cant work out who lol, nut this leaves the way open for CS and SS(this weeks match of the week) to fight it out for number 1 spot.

I wanna talk about leagues that rarely box today. The well behaved leagues, theres 2 in the DD and 2 in the ED in my opinion. XP and SP are the leagues in the DD that are the best because the Head Admins. Indiana Elite and Anne from SP are prolly two of the best Head Admins. They are pleasant Head Admins who always let everyone play and have fun but are not scared to kick or get rid of players if they step out of line. The same is said for the two in Emerald Division Straight Shots and Cyber Sharks are the two Head Admins who are like Indy and Anne from XP and SP respectively. IF there are members who misbehave in either league they get boxed sure but they are very relaxed, however they don't take bull shit and people who flaunt the rules. These 4 leagues for me apitimizes Yahoo Pool.

So lets get to the predictions.

Sexy Poolerz vs Xtreme Poolerz

So here we are again with XP team trying to catch unbeaten X8B and LPL in the Diamond Division taking on a league who you never who will show to play in UIC. SP who lost 4-1 last week against Brit Pool and XP slaughtered FR 4-1 so this looks a good match and with the liklihood of Simon playing and Pommy playing the odds of a Simon vs Pommy rematch looks on the cards as XP look to narrow the gap waiting for LPL and X8B to slip up. If the key men for XP (indy, Andy and Jamie(whos back now) along with Lewis) show and the SPers of Ste, Ketan, Simon and Pete show then this will be close. One thing for sure XP Captain Kerry will want that prediction to be wrong

Magic Pool vs Latino Pool Legends

Again this is interesting as MP are picking it up but LPL are in such good form. MP just played BP in the IPA and they use the same sort of players, with Missy and Steve playing so well I think LPL will have to be with Ant, Opti and Tino this week to stand any chance what so ever of beating the team that could really cause problems to the others. If LPL show in form then they will beat MP, but this MP team have a momentum going at the moment, take out the X8B result and they are undefeated(X8B were just inspired last week.) This will come down to a Game 5 with Ant pulling it out.

Xtreme 8 Ball vs Extreme Cues

From one Xtreme to another :)), like what I did there? ah forget it :P. So its the Undefeated against the are we bothered to show ups! Xtreme 8 Ball won last seasons Emerald Division and the team that nicked the Conference off them were CM, but where are they compared to X8B? ONE win behind so X8B and CM and MP are all from the ED last season, infact the 4 that came up if you add BP too are in the top 5! This will be a easy match to predict asd Ben and James have some wonderful players in the motor mouth Adam, Conor and Eric. 99% of X8B players are difficult to handle and kudos to James and Ben for handling there players the way they do. This match? if EC show or not its a blow out

P.S. James dont let my compliments go to your head! Its a one off. Ben? Your the best X8B captain dont let James tell you otherwise :)

Brit Pool vs Freedom

So again I come up against a team I am a Captain for in another Interleague. Brit Pool under Jan is brilliant, Coop, James, Trey and Co are putting together a mini run here as BP in rank 5 and looking for that all important Playoff spot and you look whos behind them? Extablished teams like XP, FR and SP. Freedom's start to the season has been utter bull shit lol. Either Luck or something from the heavens dont like Freedom and they are always looking towards losing tillt he CC and thats where the Heavens say yeah you can win this! The team they have of Natty, JAson, Petey and Ash should atleast be competitive maybe this week? But I dont think so.

Score: 4-1 BP

Cue Masters vs True Champs

So Cue Masters are lying 3rd behind X8B and LPL but there just 1 win off the top spot at the moment and this season they have been awesome. There defeat came to MP in week one and since then from week 2 to week 4 they have gone 11-4 including a very hard faught win against Xtreme Poolerz. They have Ashton and Roy now too and will most definately look to defeat the True Champs who dont have much now although they are on there way back weather you wanna beleive what I said in IPA or not(if you wanna know read the IPA predictions.) CM have too much in UIC for TC, If it was in IPA (which CM ar eno longer in) then it would have been a different story...

The Emerald Divison

MIB, GR and BR get byes and Heather IS complaining about the byes because all she wants to do is play...I wish there was a few more like her around! Instead people like the byes which is utter BS.

Ultimate Outlaws vs The Cue Controls

So my favourite team play TCC and although I hate them with a passion they should have enough to see of the threat of TCC this week. If they get there own way and win then who knows what they could do they could even start talking to me without saying 'go to hell jason' Just to state the rules state five league games by 6pm.

MATCH OF THE WEEK EASILY

Straight Shots vs Cyber Sharks

At the beginning of the season I would have said this was a david vs Golieth match up and SS would have won 5-0. Now however this looks a mouth watering clash. If Nigel shows with the team he wants of Kevin(gameover), Nigel, Jon and KEith then The SS capt Nigel will really fancy his chances against a CS team that have some serious players in. Bri_tard is one of the Key players but its whether she can show up. LIL homie is a cracking little player too who will be up there for MVP if he plays his best each week. The Captain Dave(who is the interview next week, so you will get a insight into the Sharkies) is a very talented Captain who knwos his best team and how to play the people. In Nigel and Dave this is the biggest test this season, if CS win then I think there will be a lot of peopel turn there heads and then ask Who exactly are Cyber Sharks(that you will find out next week.) If SS win then CS will look for revenge later on this season as these will fight VERY CLOSELY for the UIC ED Title and they are miles better than the rest!

Score: This is tough and for the first time ever I will not give a score! Its that close in my opinion.

Sorry for the explicit title and welcome week 3 of UIC and this will be a beast as i have sooooo much to get off my chest.

Lets start with UIC swiss and the winner of the 2pm one was a total nub, who was it you might ask? Oh yeah me lol. I wanna talk about the general behaviour of leagues today.

Firstly lets look at the two leagues i actually have the most respect for in UIC. Straight Shots and Cyber Sharks in the ED and Sexy Poolerz and Xtreme Poolerz in the DD. First Cyber Sharks, they are the most well behaved league out there in my view. There whole ethos is play for fun dont care if you win or lose and just concentrate on the fun side. This ethos must be looked at by other leagues who like ot post go to hell because they could follow rules, or bitch because a cam tape was not accepted because of something being wrong with it.

Straight Shots for me have proved there worth this season, after Mike was kicked for a Aimer being on his computer and the actions Shelle, Laura and Nigel took must be highly commended. The other thing that impresses me about SS is they can take someone like Kevin and he has been a ok player as far as attitude goes this season.

Sexy Poolerz arejust proffessional(as far as you can get in UIC lol). They are the team I think all people would like to be in because they represent fair play to me and if I had a choice and was good enough its the team I would choose.

Xtreme Poolerz are formally Pool Fiction but they have players from XP too and these are another great sportsmanship team who will always have good players but the players are not just good but there veyr sporting too. Jamie, Andy and Lewis stand out a mile away. The 4 teams I have spoke about being good sports there always are teams that aint and these are few and far between now days but they include Ultimate Outlaws from the ED and you knwo what they NEVER used to be like that. They are like the BNR team of now. When you play UO all you get is shit talking to the highest value.

So this week is a crappy week really lets start with the ED

Bye vs CS

Cyber Sharks get there 2nd bye since the start of the season, however they haqve shownmore than enough to suggest that they will be in the top 2 at the end of the season enjoy the week off.

BR vs Bye

Bruizers needed this bye after there heavy defeat to SS last week. But again they could be up there if they can hold on to Heather and pick it up themselves time will tell again enjoy your week off.

Straight Shots vs Ultimate Outlaws

So if UO lose will they quit because things dont go there own way? We will see lol. SS are on top form in a division that nigel should win in his sleep as, as I said last week this is the weakest ever Emerald Division. Straight Shots might have lost Craig too as he asked meto change in WPC yesterday. If Nigel keeps his head against motor mouths reb and mrs rebs then its a easy win but hey! UO have a few good players but not enough for this one.

Score - 4-1 SS

GR vs MIB

GR have really pulled it together this season and have a awesome squad of shooters that should be able to extract all of the money out the bank and leave MIB bankrupt. If Rich shows with 5 then they have a chance, if not then this has a GR win all over it anyway. LEts see how things fair.

Score - 4-1 GR

RM vs TCC

Ok TCC are a team that show up and are good shooters. Why the hell UIC admins have allowed RM there BYE win from last week when no one has shown all season is beyond a joke.

Score - TCC 5-0 RM bette rbe booted or I think a lot of people will be pissed.

DD

TC vs FR

So both teams are 0-3 and both are under acheiving but for different reasons. FR are under acheiving because a few players are a little bit under form and players like myself and Ash need to up our game. This week for TC will be a test as this will be a winnable match but I think FR have enough to see it through.

Score - 3-2 FR

CM vs EC

This is a no contest as CM in UIC are one of the strongest teams out there with X8B and XP. EC will need all there fire power and more this week as they try to defeat one of the favourites to wint he whole thing. It will be interesting.

Score - 4-1 CM

BP vs SP

Yes this is a big match as SP need to get back to winning ways as BP are starting to go through a mini slump and I knwo they have so many players but keeping them players happy is more difficult than not having enough players. If the right BP show up today then SP should lose but if it was cammed I think SP would win only because theres something that clicks with SP and Cam!

Score - 3-2 BP

X8B vs MP

Im gonna upset James this week and say that the shock of the week is right here int his match as both teams have started well and MP have good players and a good captain. X8B have had a great start but w all lose at some point and this is the point I think where X8B suffer defeat number 1.

LPL vs XP

The match that i will be at no doubt about it as Cubby comes up against old friends in LPL. LPL ofcourse changed since Ant took over and they have become a super power in my view taking out every one other than SP in WPC and in UIC they will always make the playoffs. Cubby and crew though are a team in UIC that could beat LPL and this will depend if he can bring his top 5

Welcome to Week 3 of UIC and after last weeks shitty preds I thouyght I would make up for it.

I want to send my condolences to the family of BNR_redhot2003 AKA prof. He was well respected in all interleagues and helped with the designing of MLP and will sorely be missed by everyone that new him.

Last week didnt go to plan for me last week and my team Freedom were 3-0 down before clawing it back to make it look atleast respectable at a 3-2 loss. EC made the debut against a SP that in UIC you never know what SP team will show. They were good last week as was EC ina 3-2 win for SP. I aint sure if TC showed last week but LPL would have won 5-0 anyway. They did! The shock of the week came as CM beat XP 3-2, this was also compounded that maybe XP are having a PFN style mini slump as they only drew 3-3 with UO in WPC. I think you would call it facical though. The other match was X8B beating a strong BP team 3-2.

The ED has become funny already this season. Ultimate Outlaws got there own way this time with a 5-0 win over a no showing Pool Outlaws team. Now I have nothing against UO but some of there people need to grow up. The result of the week was Cyber Sharks(who Mr. Predictor was in WPC for a season) knocked off Money in The Bank 4-1. This is a good result for CS who could well make a play for the play-offs and be the best ED team int here debut season. Watch this space. EPC won vs RM by timer then pulled out which is a shock to me but Jack and his team hadn't made the best of starts so he pulled them, something tells me theres a little bit more to it than just too many IL's. Bruizers was convincingly beaten by TCC 5-0 and they had a full team i hear so it was just impressive from TCC who are along with CS have every chance to get to the playoffs. The strongest team in UIC ED is SS and beat GR 4-1 last week. They should walk this ED.

So thats the recap and I thought to myself what can I do a piece on this week. I looked at last season's ED compared to this seasons. If you look at it last season the Playoffs looked like MP, X8B, CM and KBP(but essentially BP) with 8BC JUST missing out. Now there 5 very good teams(although after that 8BC merged with BP). MP, CM and X8B all have held there own in the DD this season. Now you look at it this season now EPC and PO have dropped out(EPC were on paper the second best in my view). Obviously you have Straight Shots under Nigel and Marie. They are by far and away the best team on paper in the UIC. Even taking out SiccMike because of what he was caught with you still have the likes of Craig, Nigel himself, Kev(xl_gameover_xl, complete nutcase and douche bag) but credit where credits due he is a very good player, Jon and the likes of WPC MVP chris. All these players are way better than ED in my view. So who is the second best team? This will come as a shock to you but I honestly think its the team joint top with SS at the moment, that is Cyber Sharks, now people will still be asking who the hell are these? They are a very good solid team who will most definatly take some beating and will be in the DD next season for sure. The rest you can throw a banket(or Blanky as all you Americans call it). LAst season it was Top heavy this season Its just Dull in my opinion. Only SS will be able to put up any fight against the main teams in the DD next season.

So with my ED piece done time for the Preds.

Brit Pool vs Cue Masters

So Brit Pool and there big roster of players for Jan to pick from is either a luxury or a hinderence(in IPA its a hinderence for me really). Jan however has some awesome captaining skills and witht he teams she can bring every week, the conquerers of XP must be on there guard as BP will be looking ot bounce back from there defeat last week to Xtreme 8 Ball ( who were the conquerers of CM in the ED playoffs last season). The thing about CM and UIC is they can bring there big hitting 5 every time and these will always include Luke, Craig and Chele. This promises to be a barnstormer of a match up as CM and BP will want to make inroads on the play off spot not many people think they can get but both teams are proving that last season's ED teams are the ones to watch this time.

Score - CM edge it 3-2 but BP could easily win, CM win tho for me.

True Champs vs Xtreme 8 Ball

So I will blog on this as TC will show with a team, but not a very good team. X8B however are the team to watch this season, as Ben and James(who argue over who is the best all the time :P). They are currently top and will still take all the beating this season. This proves my point from my earlier comments about the ED this season. If TC show up then I would say Mike grabs there only win.

Score - X8B win 4-1 maybe 5-0 from a TC no show.

Freedom vs Xtreme Poolerz

What are roguh start for Freedom this season(not helped by me throwing away every match I play). Petey finally got 5 to the table last week and really made the score look respectable as FR endure a very poor start, but why is this? Lack of players? Players not good enough? or just plain bad luck? Well for one take out the Players not good enough because Petey, Tonz, Ash and Myself are most definately good enough on our day. They play a team in XP who last week suffered a shock defeat to CM 3-2. Xtreme Poolerz don't do losing 2 weeks in a row but they could well lose here as FR are going to come alive at some point in time this season. Petey will get 5 to the table this week I am sure. The question is will XP's poor form continue?

Extreme Cues vs Latino Pool Legends

This could be a intertesting match or a BLOW OUT. Ant is always bitching at me saying 'you gone against LPL again' maybe I do! I love a under dog but this week I will let my head talk and say if EC have any chance then its no chance! Paul is a great guy and a great Capt and Mr. P bigs EC up because its Paul as Captain. Can he rally his troops to take on the likes of WPC Expo winner from last night Jesus, Ant and Tino? I dont think so but then I aint saying that LPL will have it easy they will have to fight but I think the score will look more convincing than the actual match itself.

Magic Pool vs Sexy Poolerz

So the right SP showed up last week as the swept aside the challenge of Extreme Cues. This week is a bit more tricky because in MP they are 2-0 and looking good under the new captain Chris. Steve and Missy are big pick ups and only add to the fire power of the likes of Ian and Tom. With Jane being back you have Miss reliable and she will always be there for Chris. The thing is SP is they cant string a set of results together really in UIC. If the likes of Jim(sir.bangsalot) and he bangs a lot!, Ketan and Ste show up week in, week out then they have a shot this week however? This wont be a going week.

Score: In a twist of events MP come from 0-2 down to win 3-2

Straight Shots vs Bruizers

So after everything I said way up there about the ED. It throws up this match and no doubt will be getting teams other than SS and CS(as they are the only ones that I pointed out) thinking hey he cant say that! So BR prove me wrong! I now also see that my Fiance Heather has moved across to BR from what was HT(shows how much pool shes played lately) Straight Shots must seriously go unbeaten this season to prove they were the best. I read what Mr. P said and I fully agree, I will also say this! Shelle gave SP the IL win in WPC before I had chance to DQ Sicc_Mike. The other thing is the speed in which he was A: Reported to HA Laura and B: Booted from the SS league and C: the speed in which shelle had me turn over the win(even though it would have happened anyway was in my view commandable and the right thing to do and I would like to thank SS for being so understanding. This match will be a blow out!

Cyber Sharks vs The Cue Controls

So the 2nd and 3rd best teams in ED battle it out but I do beleive theres a gulf in class here as much as SS are way better than the rest, CS are way better than the rest except SS! But this is Yahoo Pool and anything can really happen. CS will need to be professional and treat TCC as they would any team. The thing with both of these are they are raw talents and both teams I think with a little bit of work could handle the pressures of the big teams int he DD. For TCC to wint his they need a full team with a little bit of luck that they are going to have tomake themselves and Dave (highway_bong) has been around too long in IL's for CS to throw anything away. Watch out for Lilhomie for CS.

Rank Monster still being in UIC is a joke as far as I can see. They hardly ever show up and they even hate cases. I do not like they get a bye wint ihs week when for the first two weeks they have done fuck all(sorry for the language) Why give byes to a team that dont try I say get rid of them :)

So UO, who got there Interleague break in WPC have now left them because they couldn't read rules about league changes. MIB have left WPC because they dont have enough players for a midweek interleague which is fair enough. This week will depend who shows with most and as I currently have no respect for a few in UO I won't let it effect my judgement of UO. The match will depend if Jordy hangs around for UO now.

Welcome to week two and what is going to be a less than impressive post but the interveiw with roy will take most of it

I will do two lines per pred but post the roy interview first.

Jason: Welcome to Under The Spotlight and this week it is with the Bossman! Ty for your time Roy, I wanna start by asking you what was your overall impressions with last season and what will be different with this season?

Roy: thx Jase, UIC10? let me see.....Overall I think things went reasonably well altho we had a few contentious issues such as the most visible one with 10 teams being placed in ED but we got over that hurdle when I pointed out to a few people that the MLB divisions were all skew whiff and that there was no cross over divisional play. What will be different in UIC11? A lot more transparency - a lot more discussion - a lot more involvement of people in general with the new Delegates Council, for instance we have been working on UIC11 for about 6 weeks now - thrashing out rule modifications etc, maybe they still ned a little work but the general thoughts are that we have it just about right to start, now if only people wil read the damn things.

Jason: Good answer, next thing I have to ask you is also about last season. Do you regret the Division indifference last season and what came about you doing it that way?

Roy: No I dont regret what we did but I do regret the 256 YIMs that I got - mainly from serial complainers. How it came about was a convoluted exercise with some Captains saying "take such and such a team out because I left them and joined another so put my new league in instead". Before I even thought about doing that I went and asked the HA of the former league what the story was and did they want out. Mind you this all happened with like 3 or 4 days b4 the start. So at one stage we had 6 for ED then 7 then 2 of the ones that said out were back in and oh shit I was tearing my hair out then I thought - "dammit I got 9 nopw lets find a 10th. Anyway thats sort of along the lines that it went. I didnt want to disapoint those players that wanted to play really. but there isn't a chance in hell it will happen again - I currently have 4 leagues on the backburner and unless we have withdrawals thats where they will stay.

Jason: Ty for being honest I wanna ask you about the new site and admins and how this will help UIC move forward?

Roy: just an evolutionary updating really - probably wont help UIC "move on" per se' but will satisfy some that were grumbling about the former site being old and jaded and gave me an opportunity to further test my skills such as they are - my whole thing about sites is actually KISS - links to the actual facts that people want without the eye candy. New admins bring new ideas and stimulate debate (aint that the truth?) but as you can read at the top of the rules 'admins aint admins' as before - now no power and no trips - just day to day general stuff. major things will be polled to the delegates

Jason: Its a interesting way of looking at it ad we will see what the season brings but let me ask u this who wins each Conference and how do you see the season going?

Roy: haha way back in early seasons of UIC I was "Fred" and failed miserably in that lol, hah way back in early seasons of UIC I was "Fred" and failed miserably in that lol, Diamond Division I have a vision of XP v X8B Grand Final and in Emerald Division I see SS maybe playing 8BC or PO. ED is pretty much wide open tbh. As far as the season in general is concerned - if the serial whiners shut their cake hole and dont stir crap then I see no reason why things cant run smoothly - if they cant shut it then it wil be shut for them because we will be enforcing rules more so. Thats not a power thing btw - thats so others can enjoy it more.

Jason: What do you think of the Admins, and also the past Admins like Cubby and Simon, espeicially Cubby who was very outspoken? What will the new admins bring to the table?

Roy: First off Cubby, as far as I am concerned, outspoken or not, he brought a lot to UIC - even if he was virtually playing "devil's advocate" most times - criticism, especially open criticism, is democratic and can only serve to better things - as opposed to snide criticism and back-stabbing. Simon? well Si meant well but he didn't really do a lot with and for UIC and thats mainly our fault for not giving him specific duties but in UIC SWISS he is good - very good. The new Admins in Petey and Luke are already proving their worth as they have designated tasks and have both helped enormously already - time will tell though, of course

Jason: So One Week gone and seems all went well but what do you think and was there any contentious issues?

Roy: Overall I, and the rest of the TEAM, thought things went fine - especially in DD --- however, having said that, ED worries me a bit - even at this early stage with leagues mia and/or having incomplete lineups - both Divisional Admins are following them up to see what the score is. Or they should be.

Jason: Ok Roy some great answers i have 2 more serious questions left. What is going on with HA of UIC, is it you or is it Julie, and where is Julie?

Jason: Thanks for that Roy my last serious question is how much longer will UIC last and will it keep as popular?

Roy: Sheppard: well that's always a very good question with any interleague - I have no doubt it will remain popular but whether it (and other interleagues) will have the strength of good players or not only time will tell - remember this, when I first started on Interleagues the strength of the players was really strong but now it seems to be waning - but there will always be new players coming along to replace the "old School" but whether the skill level of the players drops off or not I don't know - I have always said that stacking teams would eventually sound the death knell for Interleagues and thats why UIC went to one "strong" division and one "weak" division back in UIC5. in my opinion putting 3 or 4 strong teams in a division along with 3 or 4 weaker teams just doesnt work and only causes the weaker teams to drop out of interleagues altogether, as long as silly buggers, like me continue to be interested things should continue OK but again - only time will tell. you see - UIC was the interleague that wasn't going to go the distance after blondie's NPA folded but here we are in UIC11 and still going. that was according to those who thought they were in the know

Jason: Oh yeah I am one of those silly buggers too along with Drew and Sophie. I wanna thank you for your time Mr. UIC HA and leave you with the question you always hoped for how do you like your toast? LOL im kidding. How do you like your cheese and Why?

Roy Basically I am a Stilton kind of guy - something about the poms and their strong cheeses - especially when its protected as the only places where it's made are Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Nottinghamshire. Welcome to week ONE of season 11 of UIC! Sean and Simon have departed from the Admin spots and have been replaced by Luke and Petey, from CM and FR respectively.

There have been Rule changes this season. The most radical one is the way decisions are going to be made. It reminds me more of the UK parliment than a Interleague Admin metting. There will be a delegate council, where all Council Members(Leadership Team), and maybe captains of the other teams will make decisions but dont hold me to the second bit.

There will be more Polls I am understood to beleive and it will be interesting to see if this will work as it hasn't really been tried before and kudos to Roy for having the Balls to try it. Luke will bring his HTML experience and Petey will bring his overall good decision making and they are both worthy admins to UIC.

This week I fully expect EVERY team to show up with FIVE players, A half decent Captain and a Winning Attitude.

The interview with Roy will be up soon once we are both on completely different time zones. So I say lets crack on witht his seasons opening fixtures.

Actually before I do I wanna say how sad it is that DS are not in UIC, they are replaced with EC. Now do EC deserve to go straight into the DD? No not in my view, I would have put 8BC in the DD as they faught all season last season to just narrowly miss out on the playoffs. But just my view.

The way I will do preds this season, most weeks will be Match, Key Men, Previous 3 results, Latest results(in any IL where the most recent match was played) against the team they play and then talk about the match.

So lets start with the Emerald Division this week.

So Cyber Sharks are back in IL action for the first time since there decent WPC season that they had, which combined in them picking up the sportsmanship award and LilHomie winning the All star bootem competition. RM are the part time team of UIC. When Rank Monsters show up they look a very decent side. But there no shows are going to kill any chance they have of making the playoffs for the ED. I think Cyber Sharks are going to get my underdog pick for the whole season and quite frankly they have some good players, and will take the victory.

The Script

So Nigel does bring SS back to a 5v5 interleague after pursuing mainly 6v6 Interleagues. WPC is now the only IL where you can draw that SS are left in. MLP is 7v7 and UIC 5v5. So what do we make of these two teams? SS are going to be strong and no matter what nigel says, SS will need him to grab them very important wins. Lets face it winning match 1 is very important. He has players like Craig, Mike and Chris(although this is UIC and not WPC so he will suck Nigel!) all come here witha reputation of winning on big occasions. PO only have 3 signed up tot he ladder but that will no doubt change before then. Drew and Crozzy are strong players but are they good enough on there own to win big matches against the favourites in my view to go up? I doubt it as Mike, Chris, Craig and Nigel all win there matches to take a victory.

Players like Rackem will be important if he plays for them this season but if he does then 8BC could gowell with a inform Trey and Bev finding her form again, this could be one of them days for 8BC!

The Script

I have to admit I hate predicting these sort of matches. I have 3 reasons. 1) You know nothing about one team who you predict for example 4-1 but they actually win 5-0 then all the thought you have how did he actually do that. 2) These sort of teams will fright you, because you know nothing about that team you then go into the match blind. and finally 3) you try looking into a team without making it obvious, i could either look good by guessing the score or make a calculated guess that they have 2 good players there at once, they would like more but oh well. EPC under Jack are going places this season but I think that everyone has a there own opinion about that. Thsi will be a very good match tho.

UIC season ELEVEN

Oh yes folks its back, bigger better with some unusual teams in!

UIC after the debarcle of last season is back and is bigger and better than last season altho its not really hard. With a new Admin team(LEadership is a crap way of putting it :P) that includes Luke, Petey and Drew along with Steven, Julie(if she will show) and Roy this season should be more stable.

The teams that got to the ED finals, X8B, MP(yes they re entered, no im not capt), BP and CM all move into the DD. They join the old PFN side now named XP, DS, LPL, FR, SP and TC in what could be the hotly contested DD in recent times. The Team missing this season from the DD is BNR, and really its all because Dina spit her dummy out of her pram when BNR was forced to play match 5 of the FR game again so Dina pulled out of Season 11 leaving BNR from 4 IL's to just 2, MLP and IPA meaning they halfed there Interleague intake and at the same time lost some players.

The ED has a load of new teams in but some of the old teams have stayed in, in 8BC, GR, EPC, RM and UO all stay in the ED this season and are joined by some household names in Interleague Competition and some blasts from the past. The most significant name in UIC this season is Straight Shots, who dropped IPA to make the surprise return to UIC, but Nigel likes UIC and they will do well this season as you will see when I do my UIC pre season predictions. Another team I knwo a lot about that not many will is Cyber Sharks, under the guidance of journeyman Highway_bong and his able deputy in Bri_tard they could surprise this season. TCC are also new and I know nothing much about them but they have a few ok shooters. Pool Outlaws are a very interesting team. They pulled out of WPC but carried on IPA and will play in UIC and they could be one to watch this season.

Lets move onto the interviews then i will do my Pre Season post.

My first Interview is going to be Roy, the Boss Man!, then Nigel then finished with the 3rd of the most opinionated guys in Yahoo Pool Sean. I will go through the teams and when i get to the team where a player has been interviewed i will pot thew interview underneath there predicted position and why.

So here we have the shock of last season making it into the big time. Drew, Tami and BP regulars deserve so much credit for what they have done and now they accept the big challenge of the big boys. This season could potentionally be huge for BP. You look at some people they have and Tami has obviously used her PL connections well as if Kalpz can pull his finger out and shows up(I have no idea where he is or if he is around much now) and the regulars like Coop, James and new recruit Josh(new.to_league) can really push BP forward. This season is huge like I say and BP are my shock playoff spot holders.

Cue Masters

Again another team who come up but they had a massive season last season in the ED. They finished with a 70%+ average game win, becoming what I think was the first one in UIC ever. However they have lost a lot of players and the league is no where enar as active as it was. Players like J, Craig and Luke cant be over-looked though and will make CM be up there but this season they will struggle. Look for Craig to go unbeaten this season though.

Prediction: 8th

Dead Strokes

This league last season under Ashton was flying and reached the playoffs in which I am fully expecting them to be in the top two this season. Roy is a wiley old fox and will know that this team has every chance. With Adam, Koty and Dustin(although he might go back to SS now they are in UIC again) if nto though add them 3 to Roy and Ashton and you have a solid team who will be up there all the time.

Prediction: 2nd

Freedom

This is the league I will represent this seasona nd they have some very good shooters in Dan, Ash, Tonz, Natty and Sukioo all make for a solid back bone of a good all round squad. Last season Freedom won the CC again! Petey however would like a crack at the proper competition the Diamond Playoffs. If they are going to get there they will need to have a perfect season. I think again they will just fall short and will probably go on to wint he Consolation cup again!

Prediction: 5th

Latino Pool Legends

This is the home of Ants league, well technically its Tino's but Ant is running the show as far as interleagues are concerned, they have picked up Cam(legend.skillz) and will look to get to the playoffs in UIC this season, however I think this will be the season teams work out how LPL play and they in my opinion will have a poor start and wont be able to recover. Tino and Ant will need to prove me wrong and one thing Ant is good at is proving me wrong!

Prediction: 6th

Magic Pool

The league I captained last season is now run by Chris and its all thanks to Jane returning to the fold that this league didnt fold! She has now got a good captain in Chris who has stamped his mark on the team by bringing in the likes of Steve and Missy, and after talking to chris, he tells me he has a few more tricks up his sleeve. Ultimately they lack numbers for the DD

Prediction: 9th

Sexy Poolerz

This team, if UIC was all cam would be top in my predictions. SP are mega on cam as proved in WPC this season and in MLP Fives that has just finished. If they can bring there strongest team most weeks then they will have a good chance at the playoffs if they can have a strong team each week and come with 5 each week and a league the size of SP should manage that. The key will be not to have a slow start. If they do then they can forget the playoffs.

Prediction: 7th

True Champs

TC had a great MLP Fives because primarily of Pommy, hes gone, I think Trav has gone and this league has been split because of Dawn leaving. These are in the DD but would be more suited by being in the ED in my opinion so therefore I cant write a lot about these. Watch for Bryan this season.

Prediction: 10th

Xtreme 8 Ball

X8B won the ED playoffs last season against a strong CM team and comeinto UIC season 11 into the Diamond Division to take ont he big boys and I predict great things for this team. James, Ben, Conor and Co. X8B will need to be on there game and if they are then they will get into the playoffs rather comfortably. Ben will have a staller seasona nd is most definately one to watch.

Prediction: 3rd

Xtreme Poolerz

Instead of write what I think my first interview is with the Co-Captain of XP, Cubby.

jason: Well as I am on my Under the Spot light tirade, as I have done Roy and Nigel I thought who is more outspoken than Nigel so I have Cubby the Co Capt and former UIC admin with me, thank you for your time let me first ask you why you are nto Admin in UIC anymore and What you thought of last season as a whole including your take on good or bad admins ion your opinion?

Cubby: Mostly it comes down to not having the time. I was going to quit pool entirely and probably should have, because of the time college and work requires, but I have Brett Favre Syndrome and just couldn't give it up completely. The other reason I'm not an Admin is because I quit near the end of last season. They lacked basic logic, and an issue you're familiar with me having with people... They didn't understand their own rules. When I joined the UIC Admin team it wasn't because I liked how it was ran and thought I could be a part of something great. It was because I saw a lot of really stupid things that I felt needed to be fixed. Being an admin was the only real way to bring attention to those problems. Some got fixed, some didn't. UIC looks a lot better this season though compared to say... Season 7 or 8, and definitely moreso than the last "season"

Jason: Yes I have experienced your frustrations first hand with WPC! You was with Pool Fiction last season and a few people have asked me why Xtreme Poolerz while is basically the Pool Fiction team are allowed to stay in Diamond Division when in reality they are a new team and all new teams have to start in the Emerald Divsion, Whats your response to them people and what do you think of the quality in the DD this season with the likes of BP, a rejuvenated MP side, CM and X8B all making the move up?

Cubby: The only reason I can give is that Roy, in the interest of keeping balanced divisions, made some general assumptions based on who would be on the team. You're looking at guys like Jamie, Ogie, Lewis, etc. shifting over to Xtreme Poolerz with the rest of us and becoming not just Pool Fiction, but PFN with even more, talented players like Indy and Jeremy. But I'll agree I think 8BC, although they'd probably take a lot of losses in the Diamond, deserves to be there more than XP. We haven't proved anything as a league except for replacing MP and doing decent in MLP Fives. And we don't even have our Captain from that season with us now, unfortunately

Jason: I must ask about that because it was my next question anyway and for that you obviously new that :P what happened with the whole Jordy thing and him moving to what is now a up and coming UO side?

Cubby: There was some frustration somewhere with how he ran things in Fives. Not something I understand completely because Nick hasn't been able to be around for too long at one time. As far as I know, it peaked when someone got sat in a match and refused to play the rest of the season. A few other people apparently jumped on the bandwagon and then when XP blew a 4-0 lead because they didn't have a 5th and Pommy did his best Pommy impersonation... People were fed up I guess. Not his fault though 3 or 4 people were either not around or ineligible some way or another. XP had above-average playoff eligibility and only 4 people showed. Those 4 guys won. He did his job. I was going to make him my co-captain in WPC. Or at least I was toying with the idea. I didn't want to come in and just say "OK PFN is taking over" and instantly make kerry my co-captain. And he was actually considering hanging around to play. But I think he got to talk to Nick and decided to move on. And I don't blame him - he felt he was railroaded and wanted to go somewhere else. Jason: Makes a change to see a softer side to your Sean! Ok this season in UIC whats your aims and expectations, who are you fearing and can there be any shocks this season,like for example could a BP or MP shock and reach playoffs, hell even challenge for the Title?

Cubby: They've got like 3 admins they better be able to threaten LOL, nah in all seriousness we know we've got the same talent we had in Pool Fiction with the added bonus of folks who have been together in Xtreme Poolerz and are excellent both playing pool and running the league. We definitely expect to win the Diamond Division and have a great run over the next 6 months or so in interleagues. We certainly don't fear anyone. Most of us know early on in a season anything can happen if we're not ready. Look at what DS did to Pool Fiction last season week 1. We've got True Champs coming up to kick it all off and that's our only real concern. Actually, we're even more worried about MIB on Thursday night lol. We've got 2 matches before we even get to Saturday night.

Jason: Ok two more questions, one serious and a diffsigneture one as u have had the cheese question already. Give me a player to watch from XP and a up and coming player from XP who we know nothing about! Also if you could name a MVP at the start of the season after what you saw last season(because u know all the teams in the DD) who would it be if they wasnt a XP player?

Cubby: I'm actually really high on indiana_elite - The guy was money when I first came to XP then went through about a month of what I went through in July, to the point where he had zero confidence in his shots. Since then, he has gotten it back. When he's on, it just makes us that much tougher to beat because he also slips under the radar for some reason.

Just.tified is another guy who will be able to play a lot and he really slips under everyone's radar. People I talked to trying to get a feel for who we had active in the league called him nothing special, just a guy to fill the numbers, but they also said that about Roger who was easily my favorite PFN player. And, he was amazing when we needed him to be. I'm not comparing the two, but he's better than a lot of people think he is.

The one guy I looked at going into the Diamond Playoffs last season, was Ant in LPL. I said the second I found out he was going to play for them that he was going to make LPL an even BIGGER pain in the ass if I had to bring my team against them in the Finals. Convenient for me it never happened. We'll see them twice, and again convenient for me... Kerry gets to deal with that.

Jason: Well sean as usual great answers and I thank you for your time but let me finish with this. XP will make playoffs I am sure but I am more concerned about how you like your eggs?

Cubby: I like my eggs on French Toast. Not really an egg guy but french toast is 100% win.

This team had it all last season. They were top going strong unbeaten up to about the half way point. Then they just collapsed and lost form and players. The league started to die so Trey and Bev moved ICA over to 8BC making Trey the captain and now they look more prepared than ever for this season.

Prediction: 2nd

Cyber Sharks

This is going to be a big surprise package this season. CS have been involved in WPC in the past and have some good shooters in lil_homie and Highway Bong. CS are the unknown quantity to most teams unless you was in season 2 of WPC. If CS show up ready then they will cause a few shocks in what is quite a weak ED this season.

Prediction: 8th

Elite Pool Competitors

It is time for Jack to stand up, play fair and get into the playoffs. EPC have a chance of Winning the ED this season, I really cant beleive I am saying that but it is true. If JAck can bring decent shooters then they should be able to beat 95% of the field with exception to SS. This will depend if crozzzy will play for EPC!

Georgia Rebels

GR, I seriously doubt willshow up with 5 each week but I am sure Tim will keep plugging away!

Prediction: 9th

Money In The Bank

Hey! these aint bad, played 3 drew 3 in WPc and one of them draws with the reigning champions Lucky Shots. Rich has a devoted group of players who i think will cause some damage this season. What for Rich to have a great season. They could even slip into the playoffs. Lets wait and see.

Prediction: 5th

Pool Outlaws

These should have a good season and will need to make sure they can show with 5 each week to stand ANY chance of getting a playoff birth but it will fall short as they will lose activity and I will wonder if they will last the whole season. One to ponder on there. This will be a good season for them if they last.

Prediction: 6th

Rank Monster

These have to learn a Interleague is once every week not every 2 weeks. I dont really have respect for this league but they can do well this season.

Jason: Well I have done Roy, Sean is next but first Under the spotlight pre season special for the returning Nigel and SS. Nigel welcome back to UIC. So many good memories and bad ones no doubt, why pick this season to make a return

Nigel: Thank you, Jason. UIC to me was always my number one interleague. I was happy to see SS compete there and we did well in UIC5, 6 and 7, winning the Emerald Reg Season title, the Sports Award and 2 back-to-back Consolation Cups. Sure, we had a bad UIC8, for numerous reasons which ended in SS withdrawing and having a self-imposed ban for 2 seasons. We have returned because I believe IPA went downhill in season 2 with some dreadful decision-making, and also Roy has moved UIC forward with a few welcomed changes. In looking for one Saturday interleague, I now believe that UIC is a better proposition than IPA for this season at least.

Jason: I think SS being back is great! Do you not think thatmaybe you could have gone straight into the DD as XP have retained PFN's spot in the DD and you feel that SS wasn't given a fair crack of the whip the last time they were in UIC? Also what do you think to the ED this season and who are the dangers to a SS title?

Nigel: Not wishing to blow our trumpet, but because Straightshots have an established history of involvement in most of the main inters, I believe that we should participate in the best and I'm very proud that we are back in UIC, having been participants in UIC1. We deserved to be in DD last time on merit, since we won the ED title. But now we deserve to start in ED again and take it from there. No, I think we had a fair crack of the whip in UIC8 DD but endured such bad luck. I recall we lost games narrowly we should have won, all too often. You don't win a reg season title and then fall to pieces. We just didn't get the rub if the green in Diamond. You know full well that winning and losing is such a narrow divide. In one match we were 2-0 up and the opponent in game 3 potted a colour but sent the 8-ball wobbling in the jaws of another pocket... but it stayed out and we eventually lost 3-2! Such misfortune happened a lost and we went 0-9! As for title contenders in UIC11, I think ED is a tough division with some new teams I don't know much about. But my objective, at the very least, is to make the top 4. Anything else would be a bonus.

Jason: As usual a very good answer, I am going to change the questions I asked Cubby around, Who is your main man this season, Who should we watch for who is a up and coming SS player and who do you fear player wise for the rest in the ED?

Nigel: Looking at the opposition, I am sure there are plenty of talented players but I wouldn't like to name any and put them on any kind of pedestal! As for SS, we seem to have a sound squad of some good players, such as Alex (stoned), Berti (who won last Friday's WPC Expo), Craig (excelling in cam competitions at the moment), JC, Joe (stuntin), Mike (sicc.mike), Nish and WPC MVP Chris. Plus useful additions like Marie, Shelle and myself! Up and coming is Berti... he's a very quiet Austrian who goes about his business with no fuss. I like his play and when on form, he's very hard to beat. You want a 'main man'? Well, if Craig can keep his mouth shut and concentrate on winning pool games, he's a fine talent. But as I say, IF... lol

Jason: Ok I wont keep you much longer! I have a different signature question, just 3 questions left. Would you think you have enough armory to win UIC? Who are the team to watch other than SS and what do you know about Cyber Sharks, TCC and PO?

Nigel: Taking the last part first, I know little about those three but will treat them with the utmost respect as always. I have never underestimated any opposition because, as I've said before, winning and losing is such a fine divide. PDZ in IPA2 proved that the underdog can be victorious on occasions with a bit of luck. Have we enough in our arsenal to win UIC? Yes. If my team plays to its potential consistently, it CAN most definitely happen. But will it happen? I don't know. Matches will be very close because I think it's a very competitive division. Jason, I will not build up SS into one of the favourites because anything can happen in 5v5. We're simply happy to be taking part and hope to enjoy a competitive and fruitful season.

Jason: Ok last serious question, Will you players last the whole season so you can have a good selection availiable for the Playoffs, I ask this because of what happened in WPC last season?

Nigel: What happened in IPA2 and WPC4 disappointed me greatly. SS were well poised to take both reg season titles and flopped at the end due to increasing unavailability. You cannot legislate for players letting you down. I have lost a few of those responsible and can only hope that we get better commitment this coming season in ALL our inters. Obviously we need to pay more attention to getting players eligible for the play-offs.

Jason: After reading the WPC post Mr. Predictor raised a question about people thinking SS cant cam what opinions do you have on that? As UIC is a none cammed IL until the playoffs?

Nigel: I have explained everything about our cam policy on the SS-IL website and answered Mr P's paragraph about this misconception about SS and cams. However, our policy of having all SS players cam in all inters is part of the League's desire to drive aimers and cheats away from SS. All leagues have cheats and we are trying to clean the League up as best we can. We want to monitor our interleague players to ensure fair play at all times. Obviously, in cam inters tapes will be submitted accordingly, but in non-cam inters, such as UIC (reg season) and UIC Swiss, our players will cam and submit tapes to Marie and me. If we feel we need to send a tape to an opposing team who might query one of our wins, then we will be in a position to do so.

But we wont routinely accept cam requests from UIC opponents... it won't happen. The tapes are for SS-IL use first and foremost. I see this as a forward, progressive step and hope that it is well received by all teams as such.

Jason: Ok thank you for clearing that up nigel I wanna say thank you for doing this interview but I leave you with this question. How do you like your Eggs and Why?

Nigel: I am actually a Scrambled Eggs man and, even though I'm a hopeless cook, I do a wicked SE! With grated cheese, mushrooms and herbs! But if you're talking boiled eggs, I like them soft and runny so that I can dip my Marmite soldiers into them.... yummy!

Reb will have his well oiled team ready to attack this season and should definately be around and abouts the 4th spot mark and with PRince and Co. The regulars are going to be vital for the season this season.

X8B vs CM

Well Last week X8B defeated CM to take home advantage for matches 1 and 3 in the finals. MP defeated KBP and CM Defeated MP. So back to square one and the only difference? A Reversal!

Cue Masters:

Cue Masters have been the stand out out team this season. Finishing with a 70%+ win percentage, the first team to ever do it. There Captain Lisa deserves the Captains award as players like Luke and Craig just kept on winning. They have the best chance of both teams to win this tonight. If they show witht he regular season form they will take some beating.

Xtreme 8 Ball:

These nicked 2nd seed off MP on the last week of the seasona nd find themselves now technically the number 1 seed and last weeks win vs CM was no fluke. But this week I hear they might be struggling to get there big hitters there. Ben, James and Coner must show to have any Chance.

UIC Finals for the ED

So the second to last post of the season and what a season its been. Week in, week out Jack has complained about byes, the stop predicting. UIC was deemed rubbish at some points and the odd number leagues in each division was questionable. At the end of the day however the season has been exciting and has come good. So Mr. P did this a way in which I can't really compete so I am going to go through each team who are in the main playoff draw and then predict the matches. I will then go through the teams worth talking about in the Consolation Cup.

Cue Masters

Finished: 1st

Stand Out Result: Week 15 and 17 when CM defeated X8B: 4-1 and MP: 4-1, this after X8B beat them 3-2 in week 6 and MP defeated CM 3-2 on a DQ win for Daymo being DQed due to tape issues. When they reversed these results CM were home and dry.

Play Off Hopes?: Cue Masters play off hopes rest on J, Luke and Craig. These 3 have been on fire! All Cue Masters good work this season has to be continued for these last two weeks. If they do this then I dont see anyone beating them. It will all go down to who Lisa has avialiable. Next seasonw itht he players they have watch for a massive attack in the Diamond Division.

Xtreme 8 Ball

Finished: 2nd

Stand Out Result: Beating MP 3-2 last week to clinch the Number 2 spot, which is only one place down from where they predicted themselves to finish.

Play Off Hopes: X8B should meet CM in the best of 3 finals. They will probably lose to CM in match one but saying that I think James has a few better players availiable then CM other than J, Luke and Craig. But J is beatable and in Stephen I think James has a good player. Ben is just good anyway and will really try for X8B. I fully expect X8B to get to the Finals.

Magic Pool

Finished: 3rd

Stand Out Result: 3-2 DQ vs CM as this started a good run for Magic Pool that actually had them challenging for the title at one point, it wasn't to be but it was a good effort.

Play Off Hopes: They are very hopeful as the team with the least players in the main playoffs has the hardest task to win UIC Emerald Division. KBP are in form and X8B and CM both know how to beat MP too but the saving grace will be the likely return of Jordy and the return of Joe as I have about 8 players to choose from.

Kinky Brit Pool

Finished: 4th

Stand Out Result: D'uh Last week KBP vs 8BC was a epic encounter as a 8BC who merged with ICA and showed with 5 to make a great match of it where Drew, who else put KBP into the main DD playoff hunt and they are dangerous as they are in better form than CM in my opinion.

So thats the preview of the 4 now I am going to do this different and like the newspapers int he uk I will do a Jeff Stelling in the Sun(only uk ppl will get this) If you are curious yim me.

Well when you look at both the teams taking part here CM have the form over X8B but X8B have the players. If this goes to plan CM will walk it. But X8B have never been known to give in to pressure and this will be no exception as players like Dan will be hunting to find someway past the CM powerhouse. X8B will from my knowledge be without pro.jeremy who was kicked off Cases for apparently buying premium membership without permission(make of that what you wish). I will go for a CM win here as there starting 5 looks stronger but thats only downt o the power 3 in Luke, J and Craig.

The second semi Final is between the ever present MP against the team who catecrashed the top 4(If only a premiership team like Man City or Spurs or Aston Villa could do that lol) in KBP. They are rammed with talent in the likes of Steven, Jeremy and Drew himself as hes won atleast a game this season. KBP are the form teama nd will go into this match as favourites for me as a spluttering MP team are struggling to get 5 to the table. If the 'probable teams' shwo up then we ahve a great match which could go any way. If MP had beaten X8B last week they would be in the match up where if they lost it wouldn't be a problem but this is winner through loser out and I think KBP have that bit more talent and the form is in there favour.

Score 3-2 KBP Drew vs Jason finale

So thats the look at the ED main playoffs now to the Consolation Cup.

This is easy 8BC will beat EPC because a few EPC players have been chucked off by cases and 8BC are revived again whereas UO and RM will be interesting if RM show, so I will say they show. UO have improved 10 fold over the pasts eason in UIC and in WPC they were chalenging for a playoff birth. RM like Mr. P said if they showed every week they would have been a lot closer to the playoffs so this is important if they show I see them edging out a strong UO team 3-2, that would make UO eliminated and put RM to GR on the same night and that would be close if Tim could bring 5 I dont think he will so RM will progress there to play EPC as 8BC would progress straight to the grand final next week. and RM would beat EPC in my book as EPC just dont have the players to cahllenge RM who when on a good day could beat most leaving a 8BC vs RM finale phew that was complecating.

So I summery CM vs X8B finals in the ED main playoff and in the Consolation Cup it will be RM vs 8BC gl all this season and thank you all for reading my blogs.

Week 18 and the Final week

Hello and welcome to another UIC edition of well mess up's but also very good sportsmanship. Before I comment on this last week in the Emerald Division, I have seen next season's page and Nigel, Roy, Luke and Joe have done absolutely brilliant. It is a good new page and I said earlier on in the season that the site needed improving and boy! has Roy and Co. came up with the good this season for next season. Today I will briefly go over Freedoms marathon win in the Consolation Cup from last weeka nd go through the Five playoff contenders in the ED and then go over the Consolation Cup contenders. I would do the MVP Race but Mr. Predictor has that covered so I won't even go there but I will talk about the Captain of the season and who I think should win it.

Consolation Cup Finals

Freedom VS Sexy Poolerz

So this was firstly a week later than planned but both teams came prepared for a titanic battle. In a match where both teams could only bring 4 players it was agreed that a winner could play match 5. The 3 matches took I think it was 5 hours to complete. Petey and his freedom team won mtach one 3-2 and throughally deserved match one. Then SP struck back with a 3-2 win of there own leaving it predictably down to the last match of 5 and Freedom new they were up against it as when SP get a way through they usually fly. Credit however must go to Petey(and it pains me to say that lol) as he matched players up perfectly and ended up taking the match 3-2, 2-3, 3-2. For Sexy Poolerz they can deem this season as a success as they have really put it to Freedom here after one of the most dodgy starts by a SP team I can remember. Freedom however win there second Consolation Cup in 2 season's but can they actually get amongst the big boys? With the likelihood of CM moving to DD next season it will be just as difficult but Freedom have two wiley old ILers as Capt and Co-Capt in Petey and Ash so will most difinately challenge.

Ok thats done lets look at the ED from last week in the only games that meant anything was 8BC vs RM, EPC vs KBP and CM vs MP.

CM vs MP was a good match actually in which CM clinched there top spot and it is throughally deserved but MP came away thinking what could have been as Me and Chris got unlucky against Craig and Lukas respectively. I had ran a difficult table but got a unlucky kiss getting position on the black and scratched, everyone knows leave Craig a open table and your toast. This happened to Chris too and Lukas who has been the stand out in terms of when CM need him he's been there took the win and clinched the first ever 70%+ win percentage. For MP this was a sighter of the playoffs but now must see off a strong X8B side to hold on to that coverted number 2 seed.

RM had originally defeated 8BC but as Tami and Drew have done so often they like to check that everything was fair, It wasn't, RM had signed up a player After the league had gone to private mode so there win was reversed handing 8BC the victory. To me it would have been so easy for Drew and Tami to turn a blind eye knowing they would now be sitting in 4th spot instead of 8BC. This shows there sportsmanship and there desire to run UIC properly and fairly, Roy should be proud of them.

EPC were just never in it with KBP. They ran riot and showed why they are the only alternative to 8BC int he playoffs and Jack if you think you can go undefeated in IPA and you probably think UIC too then think again. Your leagues performance last week was way off the 'undefeated mark' If you wanna know about undefeated talk to the likes of Kerry, Jase from PL and LPL captain Tino they will give you some pointers.

This week only has two matches I will mention in detail.

MP vs X8B

I was torn about this being match of the week but the 8BC vs KBP is more important in my voew to the overall competition. X8B we have a team who talked the talk at the beginning of the season but they did not know how much CM were going to come on, I mean lets face it who actually thought it. Cue Masters winning and winning the Regular season easily. At the start of the season I think I said X8B then MP then CM and then KBP/8BC. So I was nearly right, MP have had a good season. They have struggled for players and probably have the smallest roster in the ED. Yes Jack you have more players but yet we showed every week along with KBP and thats why we are challengign the likes of CM and X8B. If Me and James show with there strongest 6 this will easily be the match of the week but in terms of whats at stake it doesn't come close to KBP vs 8BC.

I am going to side with my team here but it could go either way. 3-2 MP or 3-2 X8B lol

JUDGEMENT DAY
KBP vs 8BC

So here we are, with probably the biggest match in KBP's short lifespan that will end after this season. We should just call it BP now but Drew has this attitude of 'I will never give up' and his partner in crime being Tami will be giving everything and throwing whatever they have at 8BC here. The question is can 8BC rile themselves up for one more big game to get to the playoffs of a league at one point there was only one team in and that was them. They led until well after half a season had gone and were 7-2 after the first half of the season and one of those defeats was a DQ and the other to KBP (is that a sign of things to come?) but then 8BC as a league started to slowly die and that had a effect on there results, just as this team in KBP started a rivival after that week 9 victory against an 8BC team who were slowly starting to come back to the field, then CM and X8B overtook them with MP follow both team through very quickly and KBP spotted a chance to gatecrash this playoff top 4 which was expected to run away from everyone else. In fairness the top 3 have but KBP now could just sneak into the plaoffs for the main championship. This week is huge for these 4 teams and will define who are on top of there game, and who are either not or just get plain unlucky. This match KBP in sparkling form but that will mean nothing come game time this is already a final so to speak in its winner takes all, atleast in the MP vs X8B match they will still be in the playoffs no matter the result.

Score: This is really hard to call and nerves will be flying so 3-2 to 8BC if they show with 5 only because I think...Fuck this is tough no I changed my mind 3-2 to KBP thats it I'm moving on, I am going with my gut rather than my head.

GR vs EPC

Well I thought I would be funny here and say Tim comes on, on 5 different ID's Jack don't realise and GR win 5-0...LOL. No score 4-1 to EPC only because Tim can't get a team to the table. I must say when GR started they were just picking up when the league died forwise and they would have beat EPC I am sure because Jack can't get a full team to the table and for facts Jack EPC have the worse record in terms of Players not being there.

UO vs RM

This is easy as this is RM's week off because they have 3 shifts. 2 weeks they show for the UIC shift then the 3rd week they decide there too tired and want there cup of Coco and a biscuit with there slippers on and sitting by the fire knitting there next blanket so 5-0 UO.

So that concludes the predictions and it is a big write up but wait! its not finished there as I thank all the Admins for the season and trust me I know you do a great Job even with my critisms from me this season.

There is still under the Spotlight to do and I will do the playoff look in the middle of the week.

Jason: This week under the spotlight is with KBP's Drew who was Captain but is now thank you for taking part can I ask you what you think to this season in both divisions, what you expected with KBP and how do you think you have helped to achieve your goals?

Drew: Well the start of the season for KBP was a little shaky as even I wasnt to fond of the merge to begin with but at the same time i knew it was for the better, WTG PFN on dominating the DD of UIC and Congrats to Petey and FR on the Con Cup, The ED with the 10 teams is really all a matter of opinon and its an argument that can be fought over again and again and will never go anywhere. As for KBP itself after the 1st half going 3-6 it really didnt look good for us I was working saturdays and it was always hetic to get a team together, in the 2nd half we have seen the return of Jan to BP which to me has made all the difference in the world to BP and KBP with a current 7-1 record in the 2nd half and on the brink of clinching a playoff spot.

Jason: Yes I think your even hotter than CM at the moment! Let me ask you about the management of UIC this season. The ED has 2 extra Leagues in it. Should this have been able to happen and how do you think the likes of Roy has dealt with it this season. I know I have spoke up about it this season and the general opinion is that it was wrong but the Admins seem as one now with who is there and next season is looking bright you think? Also will it be BP on there own next season and how do you think you will perfom?

Drew: Well i'll take next season 1st because its the easier one, BP will be a solo unit in season 11 and i will go into it with the same thinking of performing that I always have, BP has a team that can beat any team on any given day, at the same time our team can also lose to anyone on any given day, its ypool BP will be here to have fun win or lose, but will always hope for more wins then losses. as for the 10 teams in ED, I had a long chat with Roy about it and i will take you back to 3 weeks before uic 10 started.... we had a full diamond division with a schedule drawn up the ED was short 2 teams, there was no admin communication at the time and roy found himself with 4 lg apps to fill 2 spots, he made the decision he felt was best for uic at the time and you will find all admins should/will support that decision, as i said it really is a matter of personal opinion and it can be argued over all day and no one will ever be wrong, i personally disargee with te different sized divisions but i support uic and the decision that was made.

Jason: You have been very opinionated this seaosn in both UIC and IPA which you are Head Admin of, some individuals still persist to slag off the admins behind peoples backs, Should there be punishments for the worse offenders and whats you view on how all interleagues should stick together communicate and if someone does something thats highly against most interleague's rules should they be banned from all interleagues?

Drew: Well there are different outlooks on this by different people, at 1st glance yes, great idea... but you have to remember there are always going to be people who cause trouble and try and get ya going, they get punished for breaking the rules, you mention people shit talking admins behind there back and me being very opinionated this season with both UIC and IPA... Well i have been and it is strictly due to the fact that some things just needed to be put out there in a much more open manner because there was just way to much bull shit in politics involved, I think with everything that has happened over the past little bit does make a difference we all start to see amongst interlgs and everywhere else we forget were here to have fun, we are not being paid to do this, this is our down time and something that we want to do or we wouldnt be here.

Jason: Yes I agree, there is only 3 more questions I wanna ask you and lets get the first one out of the way shall we! Who will win the Playoffs in the ED and who deserves Captain of the Season because personally i can not see beyond Lisa from CM for it after what she has done?

Drew: That is a really tough question, now I could go out and say KBP will win it because i honestly believe we can how ever we need to get there 1st, but you have CM who has been up there almost all the way through the season and with a bye tomorrow they clinch 1st place, MP and X8B are both good teams and can easily contend as well 8BC im really not sure depends what they bring to the table tomorrow, so you have 5 teams with equally good chance but if i had to pick, i would say CM. Captains award i really cant say as there is a lot that needs to looked over yes Lisa has done a wondeful job for CM and it has put them on the map as a deadly interlg team, there is you with a struggling MP side yet have had a team here when needed to pick up the wins, cause well mp didnt make it to playoffs on byes a lone which im certain some people are sure to disagree with, there are so many aspects to the captains award that i really cant say where my vote is going right now.

Jason: My opinion is if not Lisa then its wrong in my view. Last serious question now Drew and I wanna thank you for agreeing to this interview with me. There are a few very big teams going under leatly. PFN are going, BNR have gone from WPC and UIC I beleive but yet some new teams that are starting and getting players, do you think Ypool is back on the rise?

Drew: Ypool is Ypool but it will hit a new peak in the future i believe, altho it is a shame to see the big name lgs that have been around so long going under.

Jason: Now it just leaves me to ask the final 2 questions that need a answer to each. Me? or Mr. Predictor? and Why?(I won't be offended). Finally if you ever have grated/shredded Cheese what would it be on? Why? and whats your favourite Cheese itself?

Drew: I would have to say Mr Predictor... Its nothing personal and as i've always said real life is more important, but the annymous guy managed to get predictions done every week in UIC and IPA... I dunno maybe hes got no life... Maybe hes got a hell of a tough one and were lucky he has provided entertainment for us on a weekly basis. as for the chesse lol grated/shreded chesse for pizza... my favourite chesse itself... well it all depends what im having if its a grilled cheese while plain old chedder is the best... if its on pizza monzerealla is the best.... if its on cornedbeef on rye swiss is the best... then there is fryed cheese.... a mix of chedder and monzeralla is best for that

So just 2 weeks of the regular season left and I echo Mr. Predictors speech about Annie. I spoke to Annie every day and she was a brilliant person who liked to talk to everyone. She was in BNR, LS, KP and SS to name a few Interleagues. Annie had suffered a Car wreck/crash years ago but her death came as all very sudden. Thank you to them that have signed her guest book.

So lets get on with the predictions! DD is almost over. From what I hear BNR are pulling out next season, PFN definately wont be back, the question is have BNR become too big for there boots? When Annie was alive she thought so, she preferred it when BNR were losing all the time but showing awesome sportsmanship, its not my place to say weather I agree or disagree but PFN were worthy winners last week and it was a pleasure to watch to match. Teams however should acknowledge that Admins/Head Admins mostly have lives outside online pool too though. When you look at the season as a whole PK left and they were worse sportsmanship wise but other leagues have pushed it this season and at times I would put BNR and LPL in there for the DD and EPC in there for ED. So lets look at this Consolation Cup Finale.

Freedom vs Sexy Poolerz

So then this match is the dog's bollocks. Freedom like Mr. P says is the form team team at the moment but Sexy Poolerz when it comes to playoffs on cam are just as hot. The captains have a big part to play here. Dan might left SP and I aint Dan's biggest fan but lets look at Dan's record in leagues. He ha sbeen at the many and then the whole X8B thing, I think FR are better without him. Sexy Poolerz will want Simon, Ste, Ketan and Snooky to show up. SP need to have them 4 players at least in this bo3 match up. Petey vs Pete/Ketan and this time its for the big one.

So Jack is bitching again? Any surprise there? MP got 3 bye wins in a row but realistically EPC were never gonna catch 4th spot. As for KPBP they could well catch the team that were top for so long then just seemed to stop in 8BC. CM face showdown vs MP, can MP get to the top? Well at the moment CM are the best league out there in my view 50+ tourneys a week I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. What Cue Masters have done is go from a league just for Interleagues to one of the most successful out there at the moment its a wonderful feat. So other than 8BC and KPBP its a boring week with exception to MP vs CM.

PDZ vs GR

I echo what Mr. P Tim is trying and that means there doing more than PDZ so GR deserve the timer win they should get tonight.

CM vs MP

What a fascinating match up! We have the top two teams and yes MP are there with 3 5-0 bye wins but hey I am sure Jack wouldn't have moaned if EPC was given 3 5-0's. Well actually he might of lol its Jack! CM have the stand out players and although at the start of the season it was all X8B for the ED, and they have done really, really well and ben SUCKS! (just had to get that in) but CM and MP have been the teams who have improved the most and throughally deserve to be at the top of the table. The match will be tight I think and not 4-1 like Mr. P has said. Sometimes MP show and wipe the opposition but others they get wiped. CM will take this though.

Oh yes! The BIGGEST match of this season in the ED. Drew vs Jack in a blood bath! Jack the predictor who doesn't predict vs Drew the admin who isn't scared to voice his opinion! Here is a fun fact for you! EPC this season were tipped for the playoffs by who? JACK. KBP wer enot given a hope by who? ME! Both predictors were wrong, although can you class Jack as a predictor? Na. Back to the match EPC just dont have the players to contend with a big team in big form! KBP under Drew and Tami are going to get a shot next week at the playoffs. Credit goes to KBP for keeping on going and going and Jack would love to stop it but wont!

KBP win 3-2 or 4-1 but Drew clinches vs Jack like I did vs Jack when Jack had a problem with me!

UO vs X8B

So X8B play UO already certain of the playoff spot whereas UO are looking to pull clear of being in Mr. P's words 'the best worst team'!!! Is that even a saying lol. X8B have had the best season they could, and any other season there win % would get them to number one but with byes and CM playing superbly they will have to settle for the number 3 seed I think this season. UO have had a good seasona nd will improve next season.

Under the Spotlight this week is with Kerry from PFN. Kerry has been a long servant in UIC along with PFN.

Jason: Welcome to under the spot light Kerry, Lets get straight into it! You playing in UIC for as long as I can remember and PFN have just played out there last season whats your opinion on UIC as a whole for the amount of time you have played in it and how you think PFN performed?

Kerry: Yeah its been quiet a stretch for me in uic. As to your first question bout uic as a whole, i think you will always find in any interleague that something could always be better. Ive always liked the fact uic was played all at same time on a Sat night. Get to play your games and then go watch other games. Made it more interesting being able to do that. Over all i think its been ran very well, you will never please everyone all the time. You will always have someone saying this is wrong and this shouldnt be this way. But i have had no qualms with it at all. Well PFN did win the Diamond division so that pretty much says how i think pfn performed lol. Cubby did a great job as captain and brought a team to the table every week (ok i did some also lol ). but cubby has done a great job. I think we lost 2 games all season. Game 1 and last game. To have won 11 games in a row just tells you how pfn has performed. One thing ive always said. You can have the best ypool players on a team but if that team dosnt work together. Stick together and have each others backs and just play as a team then your not gonna do that well. Dont matter how good you are. One person dosnt win a match. Takes a good dedicated, devoted team to do that and thats what pfn has always had.

Jason: I totally agree with what you said. Now if you can remember back as far as you can, and this is a wierd question. Is there any team you have played against or watched in UIC and thought If i wasn't at PFN I would love to captain a team with them sort of players?

Kerry: NEVER. In my eyes we had the best team. (i can be bias here lol) These guys went in there every week wanting to win that game and played there best. Couldnt ask for much more from them. So in answer to your question NO :)

Jason: I thought you would say that lol. There has been a lot of BS go on last couple of season's and PFN have kept out of it whats your feelings on knowing that once WPC is over there wont be PFN in MLP, UIC or WPC? And will we see you line up for a different side now?

Kerry: Ok i knew this question was coming lol. Ive been with pfn just over 5 1/2 years. In that time ive ran pfn for 4 of them as HA. Ive also capt for 3 of those years. Very hard to realise that its all bout to come to an end. Look i know this is the net and leagues are just leagues. But when you have been in something for a long time and made the friendships you have with people and the fun you had playing together it is a shame when comes to an end. Everything good does. Pfn has won three MLP world series, won PRO two times won UIC and WPC, and im sure theres leagues out there saying PHEW no more PFN lol. But to the ones that have been pfn for all this time its a bit harder knowing playing together as a pfn team is now over. I said after my heart attack 2 months ago thats it , once seasons are over im done with ypool. So easy to say but not so easy to do. Its the friendships that keep you coming back and i do still enjoy playign pool, so yeah im double thinking bout what ill be doing. I have been asked yes to play on a few teams for next season but i dont wanna go into that to much right now. Lets just see what happens :)

Jason: I know you and you will be back lol. I wanna ask you a few more questions. How did you first get into Yahoo Pool?

Kerry: I started off on here playing in a pyramids league bout 9 years ago lol. Then i went into a pool lobby and i didnt know what i was doing lol I was one of those people you see in lobby now saying * how do you move the cue stick * lol. I joined my first ever pool league. called leaguepool. I had a blast in that league. Then it merged with AF and i was there for just over 12months when i was asked to come help run Rack and Run . Was there 2 years then i found most of my friends Jeremy Doyle, Mark, Derekgnr all were in PFN and i was asked to come there and been there ever since :)

Jason: If you could choose any player who hasnt played for you to come and play for you who would you choose and why? (you have to pick one)

Kerry: lol would have to be Ketan . That guy makes me laugh so much. He would have fit perfectly on pfn team lol. He has a sense of humor and fun to talk to and have at a table and hes not a bad pool player either lol

Jason: well I wasn't expecting that sort of answer lol, 2 more questions, one serious and one my signature peice so Kerry its been a pleasure to play for PFN, capt for PFN and to play against PFN. Tell me who is going to win MLP Fives, UIC ED and playoffs and WPC plz?

Kerry: Well of course im gonna say PFN will win WPC :) Mlp i do see Pool legends winning it. To be honest i really have no idea bout UIC ED. I think could be anyones theres no clear winner there id say will do it.

Hello and welcome to the near end of one division and a very controversial week but instead of a match recap my UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT really tells it all and it was a very interestingly different one this week with Mister.Predictor, so here goes and it was a long interview that lasted about 5 hours :P

Welcome Under The Spotlight with a difference as I am interviewing Mister.Predictor

Jason: Ok, Welcome to Under The Spotlight Mister.Predictor. First of all what are your thoughts about what this interview could be about?

Mr. P: Thanks for having me! My first thought would be that you're always trying to come up with better & better ideas for your blog's and they've all done quite well. The content of this interview? Not the slightest idea!

Jason: LOL, well I can tell you I will be asking you about both Inter Leagues you predict in but obviously more in UIC, I will ask you uncomfortable questions and you must answer, so lets start with my first question, Which Interleague you predict in do you find overall best and why?

Mr. P: Nice to see you rattle my nerves right off the bat! I dont think I can choose between IPA & UIC for different reasons ofcourse. IPA is much smaller so I can add more detail to each prediction, and with the size of the interleague, it has a more "comfortable feel" so im able to get to know each league better & better, thus making predictions easier to do, and the feedback I recieve is quite nice. UIC is obviously alot bigger, but it just adds to the interest of following so many leagues & so many stories. One thing I can say right now about UIC is I enjoy the Emerald Division alot more then the Diamond Division just because of the sportsmanship and all the great pool that is being played. The 10 teams in the division I dont agree with, but I have no say with that so I just keep on predicting!

Jason: Yes I have issues with it to but again theres nothing I can do about it. What are your impressions with the admins this season and the rules that have been changed, but most of all what do you think about some of the crazy decisions from last week?

Mr. P: cant say its been one of their better seasons, but they're rebounding quite well, especially with the fiasco in this past week. Obviously at the start of the season it didn't start well with 2 extra leagues being added to some admins surprise, the entire "One player not signed-up" situation was a bit messy but was cleaned up fairly well, this past week's major fiasco between Freedom & Break n Run is a complete and utter shame for the admins, because it was pushed incredibly too far. I've been in contact with the admins quite a bit over this matter, and it seemed that my harassment over "whats happening now?" didn't help. The admins were in dissaray because to my belief they didn't understand how the issue was being pushed so far. I know they felt bad since they wouldn't make both sides happy, but in the end the decision they made was one of the better ones they could have decided upon. The admins did well in my opinion, people dont fully realise what they do & that without them, UIC wouldn't be here today. People have their opinions on them and I obviously cant change that, but I personally appreciate everything they've done for this interleague because they're great people and as a whole when they act together, they do whats right, but thats my opinion and you cant change that!

Jason: Thats a great answer, and I agree on the most part. Now lets ask a awkward sort of question. Your predictions are very imformative and a lot of people read them. Why not tell people who you are rather than keep it secret?

Mr. P: Thanks. A few people do know, and those who do have actually gone out and told other people, so one day very soon the seceret may come out, but untill then only the few that I know know, and the other who've been told will know. Recently ive been thinking why should I keep it a seceret since quite honestly theres a new person that knows who I am almost every day which is a shame, and off the top of my head I forget the reason why I made a mystery account almost 34 weeks ago. But I guess it comes down to what I believe in. Great sportsmanship, which breaks down to no bias. Its hard week after week writing without bias because sometimes the odd subect will come up that either means alot to me or I feel is completely unneccesary. I try my best to avoid it, but sometimes I feel I must and you can see in the odd week that I have picked a particular subject and have gone off maybe defending them, or righting the wrongs that the majority portay them with. Early on in UIC was Drew & Britpool, later was Freedom, and im sure I've talked about Jack somewhere along the lines aswell. There've been others, but nothing that big that pops up right now. IPA the biggest one was the entire Ross-Nigel-Drew fiasco that I addressed once, but put hours of effort into it giving my best opinions on everything after getting stories from almost everyone involved. But like I said, its mainly about bias, because if people know who I am, then certain predictions automatically become bias. Like Jack when he predicts EPC to beat certain teams and im sure early on when you predict MP to beat certain teams. You've told me yourself its not easy to predict MP, and you're exactly right. As a captain you want to lead your team to success and nothing less, but if you know you're not the best and you know you wont be winning every week, having you're players thinking that "Oh, our captain just predicted us to lose, why the hell are we playing the?" isn't a great mentality to have obviously. But obviously having great captains like yourself, you're able to do such a thing because you're team believes in you anyways, and you've built a team that wants to win, so they dont care what you say, because you're not the team, they are, and both you & your team know that. That pertains not only to you, but a few captains across not only UIC, but all interleagues present & past.

Jason: So what have you made of this season inuic as far as the matches are concerned? Any one surprised you in a good sense or a bad sense as far as sportsmanship is concerned and what would you say the difference is in UIC to IPA?

Mr. P: The matches have gone quite well in my opinion. There have been a few matches that have had excessive behaviour, but at the same time there have been some wonderfully clean matches that have ironically been in the Division you could call me favourite. There havn't been too many surprises really. PK was never a respectful league and well, they aren't here anymore. Obviously a few leagues that have a not-so-clean reputation fell through with that. X8B worried me with their pre-season comments but all-in-all, the ED this season has been one of the best & most "sporty" divisions in recent memory I think. The Diamond Division has done well. First name that comes to mind is your brother Ash. Im 99% sure he hasn't had a conflict that involved the admins at all this season which is great [not a knock on you at all Ash, you've done well giving people a reason to respect you like they should]. I've seen LPL have an off-night or two which is a shame since LPL have been an absolute great team even back to their MLD days. Whether its because it's recent or not, BnR have had a surprising past week but that shouldn't tarnish everything they've done for years prior.

Jason: your answers have been amazing I wont keep you much longer I have 4 more questions maybe 5 to ask you. Who has surprised you this season in any Interleague, you knwo as far as sportsmanship, Team wise or just ability and reputation wise?

Mr. P: Keep me around aslong as you please! Ill try and tackle the postive side for all 4 of those attributes. Sportsmanship wise, Freedoms cleaned up well in in the Diamond Division compared to prior seasons. In the ED, I want to say X8B but they've never had a bad rep. before, MP has cleaned up well under yourself. Jack & EPC have done quite well aswell. Team wise, great to see some of the newer teams like GR & UO come with a full team week in & week out. DS have had on & off weeks with full teams which is a bit of a surprise, KBP [Or BP now] have done well with Drew & Tami doing everything they can to get a full team, even when I've been told the night before they wont show at all! The Drew & Tami Crew have done exceptionally well with all the problems going on. They may not have enough time to get back into the playoffs but ill go ahead and call them the Con. Cup favourites right now. Before this past week, I believe every league had bettered their previous reputation for one reason or another. TC are finally contenders, MP is clean & legit, 8bc aren't flukes, PDZ is more then just a team that shows up for fun, its really been a great season if you take away the number of teams controversy and everything else, but I suppose if you take away the bad stuff almost everything becomes great.

Jason: What are your views ont he main playoffs, who do we look out for player wise and team wise and what is the key to the playoffs this season after suck a long season?

Mr. P: I did a bit about this last week so this should be fresh in my head. I think DS may be the team to beat in the Diamond Division quite honestly. When Ashton has set his mind to it, they've blanked teams. This recent tear they are on is simply because he wants to hit second place, and I believe they will do just that. Ashton has been nothing short of superb this season and in my opinion deserves the MVP without question as he may very well be the best player in the DD. For the Emerald the top 4 have been set for weeks now, but the order? Pointless to predict with such parity. 8bc have been surprising since they've been at the top from week 1. 8bc doesn't have a star player, they dont seem to have a semi-constant roster either, but that shows how deep they are. Luke from CM is their best hands-down, he is able to beat just about anyone in the ED which will be great if CM can set up a clinch situation for him. X8B are probably the best from top to bottom in my opinion, MP have been solid, they probably should be the top team in the standings if their few off weeks didn't happen [Your vacation left them array, only having 3 against UO recently], things like that, but theres a ton of parity out there so it'd be tough to pick one. Definitly the players I listed are key to their respected teams, X8B have quite a few big guns, MP aswell, I guess all I can say is the ED playoffs are going to be fantastic!

Jason: Ok two more questions and it will be two difficult questions for you. Who will win both divisions and Tell me who you personally think deserves these awards. Captains of the season for both, MVP for both and who has been the best Admin in UIC?

Mr. P: Difficult indeed, PFN should win the regular season, but I believe DS will be able to put a run together & win the playoffs, if LPL squeaks in, it sure will be interesting. For the ED, its tough because of the parity, but aslong as MP can avoid those off weeks I previously mentioned, an X8B-MP finals may be the best bet, but anything is possible! For the Captains Award, Ashton as done wonders with DS this season so he'd have to be my pick. Then for the ED probably yourself or Drew [Since I dont believe Tami captains], Drew does alot behind the scenes, you just have more results to show. MVP Awards, Ashton again in my opinion deserves it, but Tan from BnR has had a great season no doubt. Pommy isn't out of it either. For the ED, Jeremy from KBP has done very well, you_might_lose [J] from CM is another front runner for MVP. Ofcourse you know Ian is sitting pretty with 7 wins so he's not out of it. It'll probably come down to those three, which id probably have to give the nod to J. Best admin this season is a doozey since they've all done so much. Tamis the usual recipient and I wouldn't be surprised if she got it again. Steven has done very well stepping up as Head Admin. Drew seems to be the most social one with the members of UIC. Simon is always there doing work, Roy ofcourse is still there doing a ton, and apart from his comments both in interviews and in shoutboxes, Sean has done quite a bit during UIC which is good. 7-way tie?

Jason: Great answer again! This is my last question and I would like to thank you for taking part and I hope you have enjoyed it. What Team do you play for? LOL just Kidding. Seriously what do you think overall of the state of Yahoo pool and also What is your Favourite Cheese?

Mr. P: Thanks I have, was a great idea to do this and im glad its worked out aswell as it has. Who I play for? Thats a doozey. You can try & recruit me if you want me! I noted on this at the start of UIC, and called it the Y!Pool recession, and I still stand by it. The overall state of Yahoo Pool isn't too well. Ever since yahoo started with the larger ads, random players have been leaving and with most of the core players having played for 6-7+ years, they're moving on, leaving us with less & less true league players as most of the new ones are being shot out into the spotlight and think its all about interleagues which is a shame. Alot of leagues are slowly picking up activity and thats good, less & less newer leagues are being created so players aren't being dispersed even farther. Just like the economic recession, Y!Pool should be on the rise once again, I know that Yahoo is advertising over in Europe, so hopefully a fresh new wave of players check it out and like it enough to stay and get into leagues and stay. As for my favourite cheese? You could be since you're pretty cheesey at times, but I think I'd have to go with the classic Mozzarella cheese. Great with anything, it has replaced chedder in my grilled cheese's and ive always got some to go with my burgers!

Once you have finished reading this I think you will agree that Mister Predictor gave a good account of themself. This last week though I want to talk about Freedom vs Break N Run. Freedom won 3-2 on the saturday but then Dina found some stupid eligabilty issue when in my view there was none and a few admins I beleive thought this too but even so a random match up between Palp and Petey incurred and FR won and got the result that they should have got anyway. BNR have changed immensely and after I got Tan DQ'ed in IPA and I apparently looked for a little thing to use Dina went off on one but then went on to do it herself anyway. Thats my rant done lets look at this week.

The Diamond Division still has some interest now with Freedom pulling out that big win last week keeping them in the hunt for the top 4 but only just. Pool Fiction should have there top spot in there easily. They are 2 wins ahead and looking like they will definately finish top whereas BNR must watch out for the fast finishing Dead Strokes team who could cause a upset and knock BNR down a peg or 2, and with BNR playing PFN there could be a upset this week and BNR could find themselves going from top a couple of weeks back to being in third this week will be very interesting. With LPL getting a bye this week Freedom must beat Sexy Poolerz to still be in with a chance of winning a playoff match this season. Petey will need to bring his top 5 as SP are the team in form and will still take a lot of beating. It is safe to say that FR need to be on there game for the rest of the season.

FR vs SP

I just mentioned this match and its a important match up where Freedom must take there chances this week as next week they play Pool Fiction. The thing is can Petey bring 5 players this week capable of beating Sexy Poolerz players like Ketan, Pascal and Pete? I think so but then again this is UIC and anything is possable.

3-2 FR

BNR vs PFN

This match is HUGE! You got a team in PFN, they have a shitty start but Cubby being Cubby brings them back from knowwhere to lead the championship. BNR were the pace setters for so long this season and there now having a very bad run in interleagues and some players have now gotten a attitude, players like Mikey, Tan and to a point now Dina. BNR used to be the Friendly league this is why so many people joined it and although they still have some good guys/woman like Palp, Rick and Teacher othe rpalyers liek Annie, Petey and Drew all are not there anymore. BNR are the team in trouble at the moment and they will lose to PFN this week pretty badly.

4-1 PFN

DS vs TC

These two were the 2 who got promoted from the Emerald Division. They have done very very well this season, TC have held there own this season and although there not challenging for the Playoffs this season I fully expect them to be next season. DS how ever are having a storming season and in the end I honestly think will pip BNR to second spot and I expect Roy to be very very happy about that. If DS can come out and play liek they have they will win this easily.

DS 4-1

The ED is looking liek the top 4 will stay the top 4 but MP must start showing with 5 a week and this week they will :D. 8BC and CM I think will be the top 2 and then the other two will make the playoff 4.

8BC vs MP

This is match of the week and 8BC this season have been awesome and although there going through a rough patch they always seem to do JUST enough to stay ahead of the pack. The big question is when it comes to the Playoffs can they replicate there seasonal form on Camtasia that we will have to wait and see. They play a MP side who got hammered last week and Mister Predictor is right when they say that I love bouncing back from a defeat and the team i have to show with today I will do that.

X8B vs EPC

I doubt EPC will show up with 5 so X8B will win this as there far better than EPC anyway.

PDZ vs RM

Same here as usual RM are losing interest and PDZ are vastly improved and will take it 4-1

CM vs UO

Yay I can write a prediction for this one. CM are very good and have J who is on fire. UO had a big win against a under strength MP team last week and will look to follow that up with another big win. Only problem is CM are ont he rise weather it is because of recruiting from other teams which is against the cases Rules or not but I have proof of it and one player was Booted out of SS for it. This will be a godo match though and will be my shock of the week.

KBP vs GR

KBP are better than GR and with the interview I did and the preds being late I wanna say sorry for the shitty predictions but atleast mine are up take note Jack.

Hi there, and welcome to what was going to be a bonus blog just merely looking at the MVP's in detail and the Playoff picture. But in what has been a disjointed season where the admins to the most part have not had a fucking clue, we went from a Week off because of Independance Day, (Maybe us UKers should have pancake day off or something!)to having matches this week. Back to not having them lol come on guys get a grip plz

Now i'm all for having the matches but why was there not some sort of admin meeting to decide this because all some people want is decency and continuity. Maybe a few Admins should look up decancy in the Dictionary because Decent is something Cubby hasn't been in th shoutbox this week. As a Admin here he should not say anything about other admins in the shoutbox. Maybe Steven did get the wrong end of the stick but at the end of the day it should just be between Steven and the Georgia Rebel player, no one else.

The reporting issue popped up again and so did Cubby! There are ways you have to report and if 1 team cant report properly why should people like Steven and Tami who give up a lot of time to deal with well utter Bull Shit week in and week out, why should they spend a extra 15 20 minutes working out who plays for who. This really has been a crappy season and maybe this is Roy saying 'Think you can do better, go ahead and try, I think a major Admin shake-up is needed, and even thought Lukas will disagree (in which I dont care if he does) we need a new site and the rules to be re-vampt. On the subject of that I was talking to Roy about this and I have suggestions and I will tell him how UIC needs to go back to what they do best.

So I will be told I am copying here but since week 3 I been looking to catch the DS captain online for a interview now I have him so before I recap last week and Predict this week here the UIC Interview about Pool..........and Cheese. Well here goes welcome to UIC Spotlight Edition 1 with Ashton of DS.

Jason: Welcome to Under The Spotlight Ashton. Can you tell me how you think this season is going for you personally, How DS are performing and if you are surprised with how a certain team are doing in either division?

Ashton: I'm doing pretty well. Playing pretty good, I started season off really confidently, with, I think 5 or 6 wins in a row, then I lost 2, but I'm back from that now with a win last week. I'm really happy with the performance from DS, we've been playing well, all of us. Good to see Roy winning a few, and Chuck as well. Both coming off a bad slump I guess. Just last week we beat FR 5-0 and secured ourselves in the playoffs with a bye coming up soon. So right now we are pretty relaxed, but still are looking for some big wins. Don't know if it's possible to take out 2nd place or not, but either way, we'd like to get some confidence before we play BNR or PFN. I'm not really surprised at any team. All teams have an equal chance to do well, but one that did shock me was LPL. Last season, from memory, I THINK they were up at 1st/2nd place with PK? Um they were actually the biggest team I was afraid of this season, behind PFN. However, they haven't been performing as well as I thought, and I guess that was a bit of a surprise.

Jason: I see you are 8-2-1 the 1 being a credit. Roy was in charge of DS for so long until maybe the back end of last season and this season what made you come to DS and how did you get the players to come in to play for you because from memory I thought I would never see the likes of Koty and Adam playing for a DS team?

Ashton: Um...well I actually played my first season of UIC with DS last season. Before that I was with DP, and with them I've had an awesome record. Captained 2 seasons, won the Consolation cup in one of them (beating DS in finals 3-0 3-0 lol) um and the second season coming 2nd in the Championship playoffs, so I did well there. I'm sure most of you know what happened to DP and why they dont play in interleagues anymore, with the "do_ur_best1" issue. Anyways, after that I was looking for a league to play UIC with, was going to go with PK but Roy had been a mate of mine for years when I first started playing UIC, and so I kept in contact with him all the time, and he got me to give DS a go. So with a nice captaining record and UIC record in general I came and gave DS a go. Played last season, and after a few weeks I was warmed up and won my last 8 games in UIC. I was talking to him about captaining this season, and he was happy to let me. I guess he wanted a break. Upon starting, I knew I'd like to have at least one or two really good players there that I could have used. Most people probably wouldn't have known this, but I had Joey (Aussie), Derrick (poolist), and Cameron (who moved on) as well as Koty. Those guys didn't end up playing though, but Koty did. I managed to grab Adam because PK died out, and I knew he's a really reliable bloke, and I could count on him. So yeah I grabbed him.

Jason: Great answer. Where do you see DS getting this season with the talent you now have?

Ashton: Great question. It's a tough one...I know that since were are now in the playoffs, we have a chance at the whole thing. It's going to be tough, don't get me wrong, to take it out, mainly seeing PFN as a big threat. BnR are a great team, don't get me wrong, but our game play against them has been very close to defeating them, both times losing 2-3. Where as PFN, even though we beat them in the first game, I still think they are a great team, especially when Cubby brings his top players. Depending on who he brings in playoffs, will depend on how well or bad we do against them. You can probably see from their record though, most wins are 4-1,, however I think BNR has a lot of 3-2 wins...so they are a slightly (not much) bigger threat to us. Where do I see DS going...hopefully to the end, what else can a captain say? lol

Jason: lol. Good answer again now lets go to the UIC in a whole as your with DS and Roy is to do with UIC how do you feel its been ran this season etc. etc. ?

Ashton: I think it has been run fine. Roy did say he had a lot of trouble concentrating with his many YIM messages he gets, I could imagine how it is. But yeah it didn't really affect the team at all. UIC in a whole has been run fine in my opinion. I see a lot of people saying sh*t about one Division being longer, and all these DQ rulings where the score is reversed to 5-0. I see it this way, and I really don't see HOW anyone can see it any other way. UIC is an interleague. It's up to every individual whether or not they want to play in it, it's all optional at the end of the day. If you don't like a rule, dont play! As simple as that. If you do play, you follow the rules and don't be a cry baby. Why would 1 division being larger matter? Everyone plays their own division. And if there's a DQ rule. someone doesn't like, then dont play. OR avoid it by following it. Captains (like myself) should be checking their players eligibility, no excuses. Overall, I just think people were not angry at the rules and stuff, but the people...

Jason: ok ty onto other matters the predictors want to know whos done the best this season. Now I know I have missed a few weeks because of vacation but what do you think?

Ashton: Ah OK. Well Mr. Predictor is brilliant. I don't know who he is, and I'm not sure if many, if any people, do know who he is. I think this mystery does make it more interesting as well, but I like what he's done. His predictions are really good, always a nice read. Your predictions are also great, and what I like is how you both do recaps and comment on other things relating to the game. Jack started pretty good but dropped off. Look at his predictions last week, enough said. Not having a go at him, but it looks like he's getting a bit lazy. Nice idea with the interviews but I've only seen 1 interview up for the past 2 weeks? No point having an idea and doing nothing about it.

Jason: Ok so looks like a vote for the Mr. Predictor there then :-P. Just 2 more questions. The serious one first. Who will win the Diamond Dvision and why. Who will win the Emerald Division and why?

Ashton: Diamond Division: I'd love to say DS, but it's going to be tough. I see PFN having a HUGE chance at it. Honestly, behind them I'd like to see us. Whenever we have played BNR we just miss out by one. However they do have Tanmay who is a magnificent pickup for them. He's a pretty nice guy too, played him in cam comps a bit. I'd like to give him a run for his money though. But yeah, I see PFN having a big chance at it. DS will definitely be giving it 100% though, hoping for an upset in our first Diamond Division season. Emerald Division: I can't say I've been following this division much, but 8BC have definitely been "crushing" other teams in it (like the pun? Lmao). Seriously though, I think it's a lot more competitive in the Emerald Division than the Diamond Division. X8B and MP are huge competitions in there for 8BC. I don't really know 8BC much, the players that is, but I do know the MP and x8B players. I know if they are at their top games they can wipe others out. We (DS) did have MP in our division last season. They were a good team, but I really believe their lack of players in some games did hurt them, especially playoffs. X8B, I've heard tons about these guys, and from their stat page, they have some big names and good stats from these players. It's going to be a hard one there, but I'm going with X8B

Jason: Ok I would like to thank you for you time but I have One very important question so answer very carefully.

Jason: Being I am the Cheeseman. Whats your favourite Cheese? Why's it your favourite? What do you put with your cheese?

Ashton: *Sigh* Tough one here...Lol. Um, I'm not too particular with my cheese, but there are two types I eat the most of. I like just one of those square ones, lol, preferably "tasty cheese". A nice thick slice of that in a sandwich is awesome, OR, some of that shredded cheese melted with ham or something on some bread/or a pizza base :-)

Jason: lol a light hearted way to end a great interview GL this season both yourself and DS.

Lets get onto last weeks matches.

The Diamond Division was brilliant last week. The stand out result for me came fromt he Captain of Under The Spotlight Ashton and his DS team didnt just beat FR but destroyed them 5-0, in a match where the aftermath for FR was just as dramatic as there colapse in the game. Once Ash had lost he said he was playing shit. But he has won MVP before and rumours have it that Petey was mad. Understandable? MAybe but for me for PEtey to remove him as Admin on Freedoms website even though I must add that Petey lost too seems a bit strange. Yes Ashley is playing poorer than he used to but thats a combination of not playing pool as often as he used to. What else can he do but try. However credit must go to DS for there attacking play and the fact the were able to take full advantage of FR messing up several chances.

Sexy Poolers continued there momentus rise up the Standing to being just one win off LPL and a playoff spot. I cant say this enough but Sexy Poolerz sucked at the beginning of the season in both UIC and WPC(this far into UIC and it takes this long to mention WPC! I'm slacking LOL) but are now really picking it up and with the team that showed last saturday can compete with anyone in this conference. Pete, Ketan and Anne(blonde.moments - HA of SP) all won with Conners and aabeel(who is very very good) lost. They still have players like Simon, Pascal etc who aint playing much in UIC but they are there for the playoffs if needed, ofcourse they have to get past reigning champions LPL first to get there.

I mention LPL, they handed it to BNR last week. 4-1 they won and it was a bolt out of the blue really as LPL seem to be struggling with getting players there now but with a team like LPL and players like Ant winning all the time, O1d_school and Poolz they need to be ther eregulary if Tino is going to have any chance of retaining the title this time round. BNR just need to get over this defeat as the looked bad last week, this was proved as the only person who won was the very rarely used Lollipop. Definatly a week to get out of the system for BNR.

Pool Fiction got the bye and I am sure Cubby will wanna thank his best team LPL for doing them a favour last week.

Lets look at the DD fixtures this week then.

True Champs start off the week witht he Bye and it comes at the right time as they have endured a few rough weeks weather winning or losing they have looked dodgy in UIC this season.

LPL play DS on saturday with DS knowing they have a 2 win lead in third place but LPL knowing if they win they close to within 1 win of DS so there is a lot to play for this week for these two. Tino/Optimus must show up with 5 players and must include Ant, Old school and Poolz. DS need Koty, Ashton and Roy in my view, but most of all they have to perfom like they did last week as LPL are miles better than FR at this point in time. 3-2 DS

Another very interesting match up will be PFN vs SP. SP are starting to fly again despite losing in MLP Fives to PFN they can win here this week as Ketan has even got PEte winning again! PFN will no doubt bring another strong team where players like Jamie, Stu and Cubby will all have to play well to prove there no pushover here. PFN are top and look like the want to hold on to it. SP are hunting down LPL for 4th so very intreguing and lets go for the shock. 3-2 SP

A disjointed FR team run into a BNR who wont want PFN to get away. Petey will have to work magic her ethis week. I think he will drop Ashley a bit unfairly because lets face it all of FR sucked last week. Can Petey work miracles here? Na. In BNR we have a team who are definately looking to win this season. I know Dina loves UIC like KErry loves MLP. If BNR bring a team hunting revenge then this isnt even a contest. The deciding factor here is who call s who to play who is called(confused? :P). I think Petey has the upper hand on Dina there so after all I have said about FR here it will be a shock I hope :-s. 3-2 FR

So theres the Diamond Division now lets have a look at the big news from last week and that is I proved myself wrong. Now I am quick to launch on people who harshly predict my teams to lose. So I was a idiot for even thinking I wouldnt show with a team. When I lost game one last week I thought here we go again but luckily that wasn't the case as Jordy defied the Mr. Predictor and me by saying he would see out the season and showed up altho he wasnt needed as EPC only had 4. But the way I saw it after Ian and Joe had got the house back in order with 2 brilliant wins (Joe might hate UIC but hes playing great in it) I called xchrisx knowing how great Jordy can be at clinching game 5, 6 or 7 depending ont he interleague lol. Jack didnt really have a answer to Joe Chris or Ian. They won MP the game and are making me proud this season. EPC? back to the drawing board as they must come prepared every week.

The top 4 ar ein a break away group and the chasing pack is being led by...umm....How did Mr. Predicor put it? DTC (drew/Tami Crew) KBP are on a roll big style! They bull dozed a PDZ side that is improving in all interleagues 4-1 ad have set there sights on Cue Masters who are on the bubble and looking liek the team that could be caught by KBP atleast, although this will still take a huge effort by Drew and gang along with Cue Masters who only lost to 8 Ball Crushers last week to have a total collapse which I dont think will happen. But KBP are the form team.

Ultimate Outlaws went into last week as favourites to beat GR. The underdog prevailed again! As Georgia Rebels destroyed Ultimate Outlaws for a win that Tim was very happy with. UO lost yes but they will bounce back as things improve in time. This week will be very important for both teams.

8 Ball Crushers didnt really Crush CM but they limped to a win and a big win as before saturday all 4 teams at the top could have ended on the same points and other than CM losing the rest won so CM losing stopped a 4 way tie for first, instead 8BC who have slowly got back there form took top spot and kept hold of it again.

Xtreme 8 Ball obviously defeated Rank Monster, Rank Monster irretate me, they go from room to room hijacking other lgs rooms and then claim there not a myleague league. So why the fuck are they in UIC. Yes they were in WPC at one point and was thrown out but these guys are taking the piss. There rant over.

Lets look at the preds ths week for ED.

Georgia Rebels will continue there good form and defeat a awful Rank Monster team. GR will be on such a big high after winning last week and although they have been at it in the shoutbox saying they would not enter again next season, its not next season yet CONCENTRATE, or you will lose this week and trust me I dont want you to. 3-2 GR

Cue Masters face a very difficult match this week as Kinky Brit Pool flys into town to play the team most likely to lose the playoff spot before the end of the season. KBP will be stacked up for this one and pumped up, some people expected Drew to pull them out but I fully expect CM to struggle to contain the might that is KBP this week and will lose to them. 3-2 KBP

Magic Pool who surprised me last week and I am captain play Ultimate Outlaws this week and will take some beating. If I get the same sort of team to show up the Ultimate Outlaws will need to really come prepared although knwoing what I know I won't make the same mistake twice. 3-2 MP

PDZ take on EPC this week and this is my shock special because EPC didnt just lose last week they were murdered, and if they play liek that against a team who has a outside chance of following DTC (KBP) to the playoff I think PDZ will want this so much more. They are in form EPC won't show with 5 thats going to be the biggest story of it all. 3-2 PDZ Shock Special

Lastly Match of the Week and time for X8B's mysterious poster to prove that they have a 'EASY' group and beat the team that have been top for the whole season. X8B are good but there not as good as they think they are and in reality 8BC are on the upturn and I think witht he squad they have will come this week put on a show and beat X8B 3-2

The Most Important Week in UIC's History?

I know what you are all thinking. What the Hell is Jason on about! Well in terms of developments in the Emerald Division about my own team and the matches in the Diamond Division. I want to first of all talk about MVP's, Captains and general Cheating, but counter it with some of the Good Guys of Yahoo Pool.

Lets get the obvious out the way. My team Magic Pool, two of my members let me down this week in MLP. Mike and Dan. Mike played under both his and Dan's ID, Mike is Dan_one's dad, I have no doubt of that, but Yahoo Pool has no room for cheats. What they did in MLP Fives last week was really really shocking, although to a few people like Cubby, it just confirmed a few things. MLP Fives is on Camtasia and thank god it is. Mike slipped up because when I called Dan to play, it was Mike who said VGL REC. That made me suspicious straight away as it did to Sophie. In the end Sophie took both tapes from each match and it was found out that Mikes and Dans were identical. This cheating should be eradicated and that is why as HA of WPC I threw them straight out of WPC meaning MP had to leave. IPA, MLP and UIC they are no longer welcome for MP again. Everyone needs to take a stance and not let them in teams, because this is cheating to the extreme. I know I dont get on with people like Jack and well Jack lol but I hope the people who do read this can understand MP might be my team but I dont have cheaters in my teams.

So the MP situation and the cheats out of the way I have more stuff I wanna say before I get onto the predicting, Captains. You know what makes a good captain, to me anyone who gives there time to capt (yes I mean Jack too) gets respect from me because it is a tough job. People who captain have lives but still give a lot of time to Yahoo Pool. I look at the Captains in WPC, IPA and UIC, Pool Fiction have Sean (cubby) tried to leave Yahoo Pool once but had to come back because I don't know did he miss pool, even if he says no, I am sure he did. Who else do we have, well I am going to talk about Jack, yes I might not like him and think hes a Douche Bag but his interview with Dina was brilliant in my view and lets face it hes Head Admin of a difficult League to run and he predicts Credit to you for that Jack I must add he is always legitly eligable. Captains make Yahoo Pool work and if it wasnt for Guys like ME, Sean, Ogges, Jack, Ketan, Pete and Tino (sorry for missing you out if I didnt say your name) then UIC, IPA, WPC and MLP would be none existant. There are bad Captains but in comparison they would not be as bad as maybe I have said before, When I fucked up when on admin at Pool Fiction I learned a lot and really the times me and Cubby argued in hindsight he was totally right. Captains do a great job and will keep on doing a great job all my credit to EVERY Capt in every interleague. They all deserve credit.

I am not finished yet........ Before I get onto MVP's I will now talk about the good guys/woman of Yahoo Pool.

I was talking to drew last week and Jack touched on it too I think (yes Jack I read the blog and agreed with most of last weeks) Tami is KBP and UIC's saviour this season. God this woman has balls. She has single handedly kept on top of name changes and the report forum updates. You deserve a Medal, if only a few other people on admin could do the same, but I will leave that there lol.

The second of 3 people I wanna mention is actually 2 teams. Pool Dragonz and Ultimate Outlaws these two teams Rock. With Charles and Reb respectively these are the best two in UIC for sportsmanship. I would take these two team in a heartbeat and some teams really need to watch UO and PDZ play because they are improving too and I would love for one day one of these two teams to win something so I could say they win UIC and the Sportsmanship award. The closest I think that comes to that in UIC is LPL.

The third person I will talk about I have slagged off in the past but really deserves a mention. Roy. Even though I think he was right to step down, he has made UIC what it is and that is a great Interleague that will come through the bad times its encountering but I will say lets change the site it is outdated, I feel that UIC was wrong to dismiss Joes good new site design. Lets see what happens in the future.

So yeah i put myself in as I was getting deserperate in this divison, but on the up side we have a competition here, Mike was meant to be in there but as he cheated he didnt. Jay and Jeremy are having great seasons and as things stand would share it as I think credits mean nothing in a MVP race. Only Ben and Ian have a chance of challenging Jeremy and Jay. All the first four have had a great season thus far and I fully expect that to continue for the rest of this season.

So I have one more bit to add, yes its been a long set this week but I have put a lot of effort into these. I want to thank each and every person who have helped me in my Pool career and to Cubby for the times where I needed a kick up the arse and it has worked. So interesting weeks worth of matches lets crack on.

Dead Strokes vs Freedom

So I will carry on my good mood to say WHAT A JOB PETEY HAS DONE. Freedom are back on there feet and with petey and Annie hosting tourneys they are slowly reviving themselves and yes I am a member and do jump. Petey deserves a very big pat on the back and would you beleive it Freedom are in the playoff zone as things stand and there team is good, not the best in the divsion and not better than Dead Strokes but it doesnt mean that they cant beat Deadstrokes. Freedom have Ash, Petey, Natty, Chris(t0_ez) and Annie. That is a team that can contend with a Deadstrokes team just like Break And Run who are the shocks of the DD this season. Cuebank is withouta doubt a very very good pick up for DS and with Roy also playing quite well and Koty I think is still this this match looks a humdinger of a match.

So the disaster that was Sexy Poolerz is back ona reconvery mission PERIOD! This team have suddenly just 'CLICKED' in MLP fives, WPC and UIC there bach onto the road to sneak intot he playoff spots. They play a tough True Champs side where Pommy seems to be getting in the talent as TC 'STACK UP' making this match look very very tasty. TC are 1 win ahead of SP who have been propping up the rear all to often and with players like Pacal, Keten and Simon this will surely be the inform team as the end of the season gets closer and closer. True Champs wer ein the top 4 for the beginning part of the season and have yet again proved they are now matching the big boys in the match department but will they have the players availiable and the desire to get closer? Not so sure on that. I will go for the inform team here and they become my 'Dark Horses for the UIC Championship'

Latino Pool Legends vs Break and Run

Yet again 3/3 matches now look incredably tasty. LPL are on a roll in WPC, top of the table although last night they played BNR and drew but only had 4 players and were 3-1 up they dropped two points for me there. BNR had a off night last night but will look for revenge this week. Tino has the armory in Ant, Tino himself and o1d_school. But they must perform like WPC and not as bad as they have been in UIC this season there are surrently lying in 5th place one outside of the playoffs as they try to defend the UIC DD championship. BNR are now under intense pressure from PFN in Fives, WPC and UIC. BNR are the most improved team in Interleagues in my view(yes a lot better than SS) but why is this? Well theres no denying that BNR have stacked up, recruiting? Not for me to say but I know that they have a great chance this season to add UIC to the MLP World Series. However I think it is absolutly Gay that you can give someone a credit who is 235.8 days idle. UIC must look into that rule. But you can and if Luis ever comes back well BNR will need him just to add to the quality that they already have. Big game this and another tight scoreline.

Kinky Brit Pool vs Pool Dragonz

So this is a crunch match up right here! In my eyes the losers can kiss goodbye to a playoff spot, the winners well they will be in the box seat if MP cant continue (which I will make sure they can, without it killing me lol). KBP beat MP last week in a pretty easy match by MP's recent high standards (I think it is because I wasn't ther ebut oh well :P). Drew has a well oiled machine now and with Tami's help looks like KBP are back to there best. Drew is getting the best out of Jeremy and Steven and this is key for there playoff rush. Pool Dragonz did not think for one minute they would be this close to the playoffs at the start of the season but they are and they are looking good. The thing I find great about PDZ is they have kept it fun and calm and they are getting the rewards. If PDZ come out and perform like they have been then surprisingly they have the edge but they need a guy or a girl to step up and become there winning player week in, week out as PDZ dont have a stand out player.

What a big game this is! Say for argument sake 8BC lose this and X8b and MP both win then we will have a FOUR way tie for the lead in the Emerald Division and you knwo what 8BC have not been performing liek they did at the start of this season whereas Cue Masters with Jay leading the MVP chart are really starting to gain momentum and they are looking to force there way into the top division of UIC for the first time. 8BC though will want to make sure they stay at the top of the division for the rest of the season. They have perfomed so well this season and been top since the start and deserved it! I just think CM have the momentum at the moment.

Hello and welcome to a very belated week 9 set of predictions in which a lot has happened from last week.

I am going to touch on the UIC Swiss before I do these predictions.

UIC on friday was a total disaster. I was in it and I went 4-1 I must add but this season in both UIC Swiss and UIC proper its been mistake after mistake. The two big issues I have with UIC Swiss goes as follows. In any decently run interleague when there is a limit to how many players may join, it must surely be upto the TD to check the team numbers. The example is Nigel and Straight Shots on Friday had 6 players checked in and really Lisa should have checked the numbers after she had closed check in and said SS you have too many people in this tourney can you drop a player please. Now ont he other hand and yes Nigel will say something to me after this but he should have acted a lot better. I could see where he was coming from, and yes he was right but the way he went about it was bad. Now I hear Simon has stepped down from UIC Swiss Admin because hes sick of the BS. There needs to be some leadership. I have asked to be t=on the Admin team but I will probably be refused. UIC and UIC Swiss has been so well supported by teams over god knows how many seasons, I think UIC should show there supporters a TY for it.

Ok on to the Preds for this week now. :)

Sexy Poolerz vs Latino Pool Legends

So Sexy Poolerz won by default last week against Pool Kings, whereas LPL defeated a stern Freedom side. This match has all the making of a good match SP are just starting to get there act together in Interleagues now and will hope Simon, Pascal, Ketan and Ste will be able to show up. If they do then SP will be going all out for the win. LPL are riding high in inters at the moment, top in WPC PRemiership division. Having a strong season in UIC once again trying to defend there crown, this team is going places and will defeat SP in this epic.

Match of the week goes here then! I read the shoutbox from a very very cocky Ashton and it got me thinking, I read Mr. Predictors Blog and it got me thinking some more. Are Dead Strokes actually as good as the DS players think well I was looking at there squad of players they have, Koty - Used to be good, Drunken Bastard - He chokes a lot - espiecially in WPC last season, Ashton - Hes godo but not as godly as he thinks he is. The only true player that I think DS have as actually not playing very well in Roy. Break and Run ont he other hand has a Trump that is playing good Pool at the moment, Rick who clinched the MLP World Series and Ross, Palp and Tan who is probably nearly garenteed the MVP already after winning every week. To sum up BNR OWN DS.

True Champs vs Pool Fiction

Well this is my shock of the week! Pool Fiction played True Champs recently in WPC and PFN owned TC. However, I see a recovery from TC here because they have a good team with a good record and when DS lose this week they can get back into the playoff race as at the moment as long as TC better DS result then they would go above them I think going by the basis DS lose and trust me BNR have the better team PERIOD. PFN will wanna keep up the pressure on a possable slip up by BNR and you never know, PFN could be top by end of play tonight.

Well I have just heard the most funniest thing in my life (well not life but you know lol) Jack asked Drew for a change in schedule! That would be like SP going to every one of the teams that beat them and saying ok we had a sucky team in week x, wekk y and week z we demand a reschedule because we can get our best team there then. Extreme Pool Competitors vs Georgia Rebels

This was genuinely down as my upset of the week and now I hear Jack is crying because he wont be there and expects a schedule change so all I will say is if they show up GR, please beat them my Upset specials usually pay off my best coming last week with UO defeating a KBP team not up to full strength but good enough.

This is so difficult to predict with Magic Pool being my team. Hmmm, X8B have a good team, very good infact. MP dont have the sort of number in UIC like they do in IPA but this week I see a very tight match with the last game probably being the clinch game for either. X8B have the bigger squad and will come out victorious

Welcome to Week 8 of UIC. We have had a sorta declaration on sorryness from Jack. Make of that what you want. This is a very important week for a few team in the Diamond Division this week. Sexy Poolerz and Pool Kings will need to step it up this week int here match against each other. The winner will still be in the playoff hunt...but only just.

Pool Fiction got a HUGE win last week vs Ash and Peteys Freedom team. Freedom will argue they didnt have there best team but in my eyes any team with Ash, Natural.Legacy and Greasy is a good team. Annie and Adam are no slouches either! Other teams in the hunt are BNR who put there 4-1 loss against PFN behind them last week with a 3-2 win vs PK. So yes very important week for each league this week. Lets get going.

Pool Fiction vs Dead Strokes

Pool Fiction are playing very, very well at the moment. Dead Strokes are not and I got a yim off Noth just this week criticizing my predictions. But its like this Noth show with 3 players this week you will get your ass kicked. Pool Fiction are too good to just bring 3 players. Seeing what cubby has had lately in Stu, Jamie, Kerry and Cubby himself, well need I say anymore? DS must be on top of there game this week to stand a chance.

True Champs vs Break and Run

So we move on to the next match which involves PFN's main rivals in Break and Run up against True Champs. Now True Champs have proved this season that they CAN compete with the big boys. There record of 4-3 is good enough for them to be in 4th and its a well deserved 4th. Are True Champs better than the teams ahead of them? Sexy Poolerz, LOL there a joke in UIC this season. Pool Kings the same. What about Freedom? They just dont have the players to match TC at the moment. LPL are good enough but TC are there on merit and doing it without Itchy_Balz who has gone I dont know where. TC will need to draw on all there early season form to defeat a BNR team who well is just challenging for all interleagues they are in. I dont know if you can put this down to luck or just BNR getting in quality players. Either way BNR will take this.

Well I will try to predict this match! I was just talking to annie and she said if she was doing predictions she would be like You Suck vs You Suck. Perfect for this game as they have both been as good as what my dog releases out of his ass every morning. Yes whoever wins will still have a playoff chance but I am sure this will be one of those matches where NO-ONE wants to win! So what will they have to do to win. Sounds simple but they could try winning a game this week. Am I being harsh? Maybe a little but these two teams USED to be good. Sexy Poolerz/United Pool one of the best teams in inters! At the moment one of the worse and for this reason I think that neither team will want it enough but I have to pick a winner. I see a match where no one wants to pot the black.

The big question I have is what happened to Freedom last week? They collapsed against a Pool Fiction who to be fair bought Stu, Ogges, Andy and Lewis them 4 are great players. Perry not so much, I think he is very very over-rated. LPL are going to be looking to get back into the playoffs this week. I watched yesterday as they brushed aside GR in WPC. Ok only GR but you beat whats put infront of you. For Freedom they must turn up this week they have a few good players in Ash and Chipped beaver. A few average players who can play good like Petey and Annie. So yes this will be such a great match if both teams want it enough and I will go with my head and say LPL are far too strong for under performing Freedom

Right first off before i do my predictions I was talking to Mr. Predictor who thinks Jack is maturing. I still remain to be convinced but all i do know is that he has a lot of work to do and I for one wont talk to him until he has proved this. I think the fact some teams are gonna take a 5-0 loss rather than play EPC says something for what Jack has done to his league. Lets moooooooooooove on........

8 Ball Crushers vs Rank Monster

So 8BC remain unbeaten for now but that will change when the PDZ 3-2 defeat is reversed back to a PDZ win in accordance to the GAY rule being abolished. 8BC are a threat tho but so are Rank Monster. Now me and RM have not had the smoothest of relationships but they look good this season after being written off by all predictors. What can they achieve? Well if you look at the standings Ultimate Outlaws won my shock of the week match last week when defeating KBP 3-2. Rank Monster are better than them, if you add to that PDZ are not on 8 points they will be on 12 points then its GAME ON. 8BC are just re-picking up there form and will take some beating but if you look at what Rank Monster have I am going to do another one of my crazy Shock of the weeks but would this really be a shock considering how RM run big teams close?

Well who would have thought once the result is re-reversed that PDZ would be just 1 win off the playoffs in UIC Emerald Division? Definatly not me. Yes Magic Pool raped PDZ last week but PDZ have the talent to really, really do some damage this week as come the end of the season the win percentage will be most important for the playoffs, WOW I cant believe I am saying that Pool Dragonz and there best friends Ultimate Outlaws have a chance of winning a playoff space ahead of some very well established teams but this is Ypool and anything can happen. GR I would like to commend for showing up every week and at the beginning of this season I actually thought they had a very very good chance of winning a game like this but however PDZ are in the best form of there short life.

I will this prediction by saying WOW i can watch this and not get booted for no reason :). This will be a interesting match with what I think will be a lot of viewers. Cubby will be there I am sure. The KBP capt Drew who I myself havent seen eye to eye with him all the time but this week I dont see a shock. He is a good captain but this week players and eligability is key. All games have to be played by 6pm and reported by 6pm I cant stress this enough Jack but the rules are rules. Now with Steven and Drew in charge of UIC now while Julie still recovers I expect shake ups. This match though will only go one way.

Xtreme 8 Ball vs Ultimate Outlaws

Now this is a BIG MATCH. Ultimate Outlaws this season have been absolutely OUTSTANDING this season I think they have shocked everyone by storming through against teams like KBP being the stand out team and EC in week 2 but I think it was a credit win. Either way this week is big and they CAN beat a team in X8B who at the beginning of the season where cocky saying it was going to be easy.........ERR REALITY CHECK there are teams who are emerging. Yes 8 Ball Crushers are top but this week I sense Ultimate Outlaws doing something again. They are now proving a team that are slowly getting into a team who are going to chalenge for that last playoff place. In WPC they are lying 4th! An absolutly amazing achievement. This week X8B need to concentrate but oh well here goes.

The worst Sportsmanship ever?

So I had the ultimate pleasure of Craigs and Jack's company last night in the worse game of pool for a interleague i have ever witnessed. EPC was the team (any surprise there) and they played the nice team of 8BC who were undefeated and still are undefeated. Lets start with Craig being DQed for EPC, quite rightly so as the very quick matches that were on his profile just told me they potted the black anyway and reported, but EPC couldnt even get that right! So on top of EPC booting some players that beat them, they then booted me (what a surprise im jacks best buddy!) and simon who again is jacks best buddy, oh man he just loves the lippitts.

Lets go back to the match and again roy aint gonna like this but to me it seems like he is so far up jacks arse its unbeleivable. Steven was called to the table for the DQ and then Roy turned up. Now Steven is a nice guy who has been around UIC for years. He just wanted to boot out EPC, to which i think each and every 8Ball Crusher player would have agreed with. From the minute I entered the first time and said gl both i was booted because of this shitty vendetta Jack has with me. 8 Ball Crushers got them to invite me back and then Steven checked the eligability of Craig and as per usual with epc he wasn't eligable.

I have to get one thing straight here i am just reporting on what everyone is thinking and I fully expect Jack to yim me cussing and abusing me as per usualy because unlike Roy, I listened to my Admins and in WPC we threw them out. Now I have nothing against Roy, I respect the man but hes seriously wrong here. I spoke to another 3 Admins and they think EPC were out of order too. Steven does not deserve to be made a scapegoat.

My view is that EPC should be thrown out the attitude stunk, they boted 8 Ball Crushers players, Jack goes on about GR and teamwork. GR are a team who play other teams with respect and you know no matter what Jack says, what I have done with Magic Pool this season is got them to play every team with respect. In IPA and UIC and now in WPC in which mike captains MP are respectful at all times. Last night Jack and EPC made a mockery of UIC and Roy allowe dit to continue, one day UIC will throw out EPC. Yesterday just proves that they dont know sportsmanship when it hits them in the face. I am laying into them but its was shitty behaviour and they deserve to go.

Welcome to the wierd cross roads stage of UIC

So what do I mean about the title? Well to me its simple this is where half the league cant wheel and deal in players anymore. The Diamond Division reaches that point this week where as far as i know up till 6pm they can still have players off other teams. Yes i'm right, its week 7 of 14 in the DD whereas in the Emerald Division its week 7 of 18. What does this say about UIC ths season?

Well I have spoke to numerous admins of UIC and most have had the same opinion. There was no meeting before hand and the divisions are fucking fucked up. Yes I swore but the organization of UIC this season has been awful. Who is actually Head Admin, LOL who is actually admin? I know Sean is, Simon, Drew, Steven and Julie (who to be honest i have not seen, except once when HT tried to enter back end of last season but oh well).

My question is this week, what about Roy? I have heard so many stories about how he is or isn't HA, hell even Admin lol. So I hope to clear that up with my interpretation of it. From what I know and who I have spoke to he isn't a admin, I was told that Roy had actually retired from UIC Admin. Then I hear he has gone back a few weeks matches and reversed them.

So here is where my discussion on Roy moves on for a minute with my own interpretation of these rules. Now last week I had the plesure of watching Pool Dragonz defeat 8 Ball Crushers. This was a memorable match up and Pool Dragonz moved to with in a win of the playoffs. But it got cold when a player that LOST, wasnt signed up to the UIC ladder. Yes it was a oversight and I would say the same too in the RM vs MP match where a RM loser wasnt signed and it was given to a 5-0 win rather than a 4-1 defeat. This is just stupid in my book, it hasnt affected the game and you know what, i know its been a rule for so long now but its out dated. Getting the games by 6pm yeah ok I can see where that one comes from, but having the whole team DQed for the error of one person, or cases the way its been acting. I just think something needs to be done.

As for Roy, lets have a proper decision, and lets make sure the good admins they have in Cubby, Steven and Simon can do there jobs, they were obviously kept in the dark about the stupid league format and I was told there was no pre season meeting so come on UIC plz dont fuck up a great interleague again, and i know i have been a critic of it in the past but thats the past. Its one of the longest Running ones left lets keep it simple same amount of teams in each division and lets have it back to normal.

So I will start on the Diamond Division first this week.

Sexy Poolerz vs Break And Run

If I was told this time last season that I would be saying BNR vs SP is a mismatch in favour of BNR I would have laughed in all your faces. But BNR are now a big stacked side who know there good even though PFN smoked them last week. Dina has got together some great players in Tan, Chip, Josh and Anil. But also some not so great players and Dina will hate me for saying this but shes one of them and Trump is the other, completely over rated by BNR in my opinion. Bryan is just Bryan, nothing else to say about that. Sexy Poolers on the other hand they have been dog shit this season, just like in WPC they need to pick this up and fast otherwise the will finish bottom. SP need to get good players to the table and one would think simon and Ste and Pas will all play this week.

Pool Fiction vs Freedom

Freedom have picked up annie and I think Ash and Petey have a few more things up there sleeve for Freedom this week. Pool Fiction have came off that impressive win last week against BNR to tie things up at the top and make it a very interesting DD this season. There team last week was stellar with Cubby bringing to the table the likes of Andy, Stu, Lewis and Cubby himself meaning BNR were up against it and PFN showed they have the stronger squad because I am sure that was BNR's best 5 last week. Freedom will struggle this week. Kerry is out of hospital and recovering well and its just liek this PFN team there recovering from the down patch they had in all inters for the last few week in my opinion.

True Champs vs Latino Pool Legends

Probably going to be the closest match. This season True Champs, especially in WPC have really started to fly and this is no exception this season, they lost last week but they had no pommy, add to that Jay(itchy_balz) aint been around. TC will up there game this week and take it to the DD champs of last season LPL, who again look strong and have picked up ant, that is a big pick up. If LPL perform to there best they will give TC a run for there money but sometimes, just sometimes they under perform and that is how I think this match should go this week.

Pool Kings vs Dead Strokes

Now this will be a match and a half if both teams show up with 5 ppl. DS wont get lucky like last week if they only show with 3 men. I mean fair play to them they pulled it off but they should really make sure a league of there size shows with 5. If they do then PK will struggle because they have not been on the ball this season at all. Pool Kings look at who you have and explain why you have been performing awfully, Adam 1 win, Jeff 1 win, Craig 2 wins and a DQ, Daz 1 win and Chris 1 win this form is crap and if you play like that this week you will be murdered because DS have a chance of winning and with the Ha/Admin or a nobody in roy and Ashton they will take it easily here.

Ok, I could just easily cuss out jack or tell him how useless he is but this is UIC and not WPC so lets keep it professional (thanks mister predictor for making me see sense :P) Some interesting match-ups here this weeka s the chase for the title gets closer to the half way point whereas DD are racing through the second half of the season lol this is so gay how they have done it SORT IT OUT :P

Kinky Brit Pool vs Ultimate Outlaws

So then KBP should just be renamed BP now. I was talking to a KP player who told me that Drew had gave the captain away to someone else. Not sure who but all i know is they was not impressed. This guy did not know what he was doing and it was actually embarrassing to watch as they luckily picked up the DQ win now I have explained in my introduction what I think about this lame ass rule but i wont bring it up again. UO have a serious chance to do some damage this week. Last week I watched PDZ win only to again have it creuly taken away. Yes I knwo its the rules but some rules stink.. UO can shock here because the Captain Drew left in charge dont have a clue and the fact Annie left KP makes it harder for Tourneys to be hosted. She has moved to FR now i think and Drew should have handed her the Captain anyway.

So again RM are another team been harshly treated and i will be asking for the MP match to be put back to 4-1 because it was a loser who wasnt in the Ladder anyway. This week as long as theres no DQ's is Cue Masters to lose. They are in the playoffs and looking good. Lisa has a OK team but its a team that tries and tries and tries. If CM show up with the best attutude in UIC and thats what they have then this will be a easy win for CM if they cant get five look for RM to steal it.

Well Pool Dragonz in my mind harshly had there last weeks win took off them. They would have been lying with a serious playoff chance of they had been allowed to keep there 3-2 win over 8BC no less. But 8BC got away with it and the win was reversed but PDZ can upset MP this week who dont have as strong UIC team as they do IPA team. If MP though show up with Mike, Me (had to get it in there as im like 4-1 :P) and Joe whos played well since returning then it shouldnt be a problem.

Hey all and welcome to another edition of UIC predictions.

There are a lot to talk about today. Last weeks matches were basically fine with some big wins and some shock losses.

Diamond Division

Every DD match up went to 3-2 this week. The most noticable was the Freedom vs Break N Run match, where freedom went 2-0 up with wins from noob.shots and natural legacy. Ash played Josh and to me i thought Ash should have won, Josh however being the Pro he is pulled out a win, and it was game on except BNR got a stroke of luck as with Petey being away Ash only had 3 players. BNR took it 3-2.

DS lost to LPL, is this the start of a great season for LPL? They lie in 3rd place, there 1 win of PFN and 2 wins of BNR. Tino will really wanna hand it to PK this week, who also suffered a defeat to True Champs last week 3-2, now a PK who are playing good should piss all over TC. But credit to TC they have improved immensely and will be in the mix for a Playoff spot.

The last match was PFN defeating SP 3-2. Kerry and PErry lost last week, but stoned_on, Don and Jamie all came in did there job well and defeated a SP side who are struggling.

Theres the small write up heres the matches.

LPL vs PK

This match is going to be interesting. If PK want tot challenge for serious honours this season then a win here is a must because next week will be half way through the season and PK are stuck on 4 points, with only SP on 0 points behind them. Now I know this is a strong division but come on PK your better than this! LPL are just starting to pick up again and with the way they have been playing of late will want to defend there DD title. If they come out this week and play to there full potential then they will easily win this. Adam needs to get a strong 5 if here dont they fucked.

TC vs DS

Now, Now, Now this is very very interesting. DS suffered at the hands of LPL last week. This week they play a TC team who are playing better than LPL have been all season and with TC now getting a player like Pommy whos 5-0 then DS have to worry. Dawn and Itchy Balz if he shows will both challenge the best of DS. I thought DS would have a chance at winnign this season but I really dont know now. I think They are a team that will lose interest(i dont mean all the team but some). If TC show witha strongish team this is a no brainer and I think TC will do it before game 5.

SP vs FR

I might have said some semi harsh things about SP in the opening post of this weeks blog but if you look at there team and look where they are you have to think 'EH! wtf you doing in last place behind PK'. There palyers who include Aaron, Simon, Pete and Conners, well you really need to get into gear because FR are doing ok and with both ash and petey here today they will have 5 and those 5 will wipe SP out.

MATCH OF THE WEEK

PFN vs BNR

What a match for me to end on. The best team this season by far in BNR playing the team that knows who to play shit YET WIN. So BNR are they as good as there stats say? No they have been lucky for a lot of weeks. I mean dont get me wrong there stats dont lie. Tanmay has been there best player this season but last week i am sure they would have lost if it wasnt for FR having no players. PFN on the other hand may be the worse team by stats but they definatly have the better players. Jamie is better than Mikey, lol no doubts about that one. Only really Josh and Tan are anywhere near the best 5 or 6 cubby could bring to the table. This match will be the tightest but my money is on a PFN win as they rise to big occasions.

Diamond Division

Pool Kings VS Pool Fiction

Well PFN have not been firing at all whereas PK lost 4-1 last week, 5-0 the week before, so really even though PFN have been playing bad they have still got a damn site better results than PK. If PK show and play as pathetically as they have been of late, and lets not forget PK have some experienced shooters in Jeff, Adam, Craig and Omar. Then PFN could be even worse than last week and still win say 4-1, hell to it even 5-0. Cubby will get this team together and playing well again whereas i feel PK are past it.

Break N Run VS Latino Pool Legends

Sorry LPL but i see this as a bit of a none contest. BNR are just flying although they just lost to EC in IPA, in MLP they are just flying toward the conference title. LPL need to actually want to play this week after only just losing to PFN, who were shocking, and when the other team are that bad and still beat you. YOU GOT PROBLEMS. BNR will bring a strong 5 and will walk this one.

Freedom VS Dead Strokes

UPSET OF THE WEEK

This really should be DS to win. They are playing better and have in my opinion just about the better players. BUT something tells me freedom will come at them tonight and Petey who can be a very astute captain will help FR to a shock win. I say this because i feel that now DS are being found out. Certain players only play one way whereas Ash, Petey and Co. Can adopt a lot more easily. So It hink i will be the only one to go for a biggggg upset here.

Interesting match up this one. Simon has brought a bit of smash and bang to SP and they needed it. Running DS last week where roy came out with the best comment i have ever seen 'wow fuck me sideways'. TC got there first win on the board last week but i dont see this happening this week. SP are too strong if Pete can get his strongest 5 to the table, lets find out tonight.

This is a big match here. 8BC are now starting to beleive there own hype with people telling me there saying they can now not be beaten. This is YAHOO POOL and anyone can be beaten at any given time. Yes 8BC are top but there one win ahead of 4 well 3 cause EPL stink. If both teams turn up witht here strongest 5 this will be bloody close. MP need Ian, Mick and a vast improving tom to give MP a chance of beating 8BC. MP come intot his matcha s definate under dogs.

Ultimate Outlaws VS Cue Masters

UPSET SPECIAL----MATCH OF THE WEEK

So last week a improving UO side took MP my league all the way to the 5th game this week they WILL go one better and let me tell you why. This league is A. One of the nicest around this interleague circuit, B. These players are improving, FAST and C. Other than Sic pool and Enabled It hink UO can match CM in every department. If players like Bud turn up and are last unpredictable and focus my upset special will be spot on, if they dont then Lisa and her gang will wipe the floor with UO.

Soooooooooooo.......... Prepare for the ugliest match of the week. With a shock outcome. Amazingly I was havign a civilized Convosation with Jack earlier and he has a few players who are very good comingto EPC. Mina and Tom are gonna be big for EPC. But there player to watch will have to be Spence. I have known him play now for a while and he is good, very under rated but sometimes beleives he is better than he is. If he keeps his feet firmly on the ground then he will be a biog player this season. X8B however this season have been a mixed bag of tricks. This is a team who said in the shoutbox in the predictions section at the start of UIC this division is easy yet they sit on 1-2. I would keep mouth shut and concentrate on playing that being said they are right they should be a lot better than what they are but deal with it. They will be shocked today and I cant beleive im writing this score out.

Hey all welcome to a very late week 3 post lol. Been interesting convosation with a few capts. And after really trying to make head or tail of jacks preds I gave up. Mister predictor might not like me but wrote some good points. Last week had some good matches in and some not so good. Including the match i was involved in with the 2 dqs. So week 3 looks very interesting lets get straight into it as I dont have a lot of time.

Diamond Division

Dead Strokes vs Sexy Poolerz

Hmmm interesting match up this one. SP have got a few players in, for example Simon. And have had a difficult start to season 10. They lost 3-2 both weeks, and with the team now assembled at DS that losing run could just continue. Dead Strokes on the other hand with Cam, Koty and Ashton have caused a few ruptures in the DS room in recent weeks after talking to a member from DS saying that to certain people Ashton is the best thing since sliced bread but when those sort of players try telling senior members how to play pool I would find it a bit insulting too. This will be a great match up that i think DS will get the better of. SP will need to be on form to stop them.

Freedom vs True Champs

Yes match of the week bill this week goes tot he team who just ablitterated Pool Kings last week FIVE - NIL. It was a amazing performance and you knwo what. It doesnt matter that PK might not have been strong because in any interleague to dominate a team like they did and win 5-0 then they would have to play excellant all the time. Petey will look to improve on this, this week with players like Ash, Natural legacy and chipped beaver who Petey will hope can turn True champs into True Losers. But TC wont step down easily and players like Itchy, Dawna nd Rich will be vital in what I think will be a close battle in week 4.

Break aNd Run vs Pool Kings

So PK lose 5-0 last week to FR will they show for week 3? I think so and Adam will be looking to prove a point against a rapant stacked up BNR team. BNR with Trump, Josh and Tan will once again look to try and nick yet another win after winning there first two matches 4-1 will be looking for another convincing win this week. But PK will be on a mission to show they still hae what it takes to take a victory and this will be my scare of the week but I feel BNR will hold on.

Latino Pool Legends vs Pool Fiction

So what does everyone make of these two teams? I know that Tino really wants LPL to do well, Cubby squeaked a win last week but PFN still looked shakey but everyone knows with PFN if they get to the playoffs they will always come good, so maybe this is the season PFN scramble into the playoffs and then they kick into gear, one thing for sure Tino, Player and Poolz will be out to get them in a rematch of WPC season 2 finals. This will be down to who is on better form and I think PFN will be better, they cant get much worse at the moment.

Ultimate Outlaws vs Magic Pool

Well MP won it the ugly last week. Ultimate Outlaws have had a ok start considering the whole of UIC expect them to lose. Yes they have lost both 5-0 but they are having fun and are by far the most sportsmanliek team in UIC. This should be a walk in the park for MP but never say never in YPOOL.

Rank Monster vs Georgie Rebels

Rank Monster are really holding there own! Welcome to UIC GR. This week you have a tough week. If the same RM show up this week that have shown for the last 2 then they should win. Which will give them there first win of the season. They lost there first two matches 3-2 and 3-2 so there is some room for improvement but there close to there first ever UIC win. GR I know quite well being a hider int here league and these people know how to play! They are going to cause a shock or two along the way I am sure.

Extreme Pool Competitors vs Elite Pool Legends

Some people would say the bettle of wits for this match. I think this is going to be a ugly but rather enjoyable match to watch. Jack will say EPC was robbed last week. Admins say different but right or wrong Crozzzy left and there is no replacement for him. EPL, well there team is just stacked! This to me is the team that could and should beat X8B to the UIC ED title. If Dan gets allt he right guys to show up then this is EPL's very very very comfortably. If he doesnt then Jack could nick it but i dont see it happening.

8Ball Crushers vs Xtreme 8 Ball

So some controversy int he UIC Swiss with a X8Ber where he played suicide lg race which is not allowe din X8B's league and def not in UIc. It meant no poitns for that person and X8B lost out on taking 1st spot in UIC Swiss. Now 8BC have a solid if not unspectacular team. They could take X8B close though because 8BC are on fire lately despite losing in IPA earlier, they are the sort of team X8B dont want at the moment. Mikey have got these well drilled. I remember they came into WPC last season and Mikey was like watch us grow, they have and look at them now this is my upset of the week its gonna be big!

Kinky Brit Pool vs Cue Masters

This is a pretty interesting match up as CM are doing ok at the moment. They are 1-1 although CM got a 5-0 bye win. However KBP who have been good lately granted. They will take a lot of beating will KBP because of the players they have. Cue Masters though with Craig and Lukas will like the chance to become the first team to beat KBP and you know what I think they will.

So in the aftermath of Jack the prat, seems allt he predictors are coming out of the wood work. Keep up the good work all. So here we are week 2 and week 1 did not dissapoint. Jack's Prediction of BNr to finish top of the pile in the Diamond divison no chance, they will challenge for the 4th spot but will ultimately miss out to Dead Strokes and what a great week they had. THREE - TWO winners verses Pool Fiction and I for one did not see that shit coming. Break And Run beat True Champs 4-1, Pool Kings beat Sexy Poolerz 3-2( more on that later ) and LPL won 3-2 but Freedom bought just 2 players and then LPL went on to accuse of Aimer, as Ashley won. So that was week 1 in a nutshell for the Diamond Division.

Pool Kings bought a strong team and a player that has caused a split in the admins i feel. After everything that happened in UIC with Jeff last season, can he be allowed to play? Well a few people thought no, but he is as its only 8BR who are banned from UIC. So Adam, Craig and Jeff all won, Chris and Sourwood lost as Sexy Poolerz went 2-0 up with, you know I am nto going to bother lol, Cause Sexy Poolerz couldnt be bothered to show with 5.

Break And Run, ran through there opponents, sorry couldnt resist that. But they actually showed with a ok team. Whats interesting though about BNR is they are very quick to jump to conclusions. Here is a example, Pommy the shock person in the True Champs team(and by far the best) said something as a joke I cant remember it now but it was funny, and dina responded with let the kids ahve there way. There was nothing wrong with what Pommy said anyway. So BNR with the.rage, aaaaaaanil, Ross and Trump(who I still think is past it,,,,, my own opinion) all won with Pommy beating Bryan.

LPL and Freedom again I am not going to go into but Tino really needs to take captain off Optimus because he is not nice at all, Tino gets his team to play fair not accuse people of having a aimer. LPL won 3-2 after being 2-0 down but FR had no players, Stupid.

The last match in the DD was Dead Strokes beating Pool Fiction by game 4, now it wasnt the strongest ever Pool Fiction team. A win for there strongest player in Ogges. Kerry, Stevie and Sym then went on to lose to Cuebank, no skills and Koty respectively, then Ghetto got the score to look half decent. Dead Strokes have got a good team together and I judge them better than Break and Run.

Ok theres the reports for the Diamond Division lets look at week 2 for the DD.

Pool Fiction vs True Champs

Well this should be a one sided result. To me last week for Pool Fiction was a shock. Dead Stokes are good but Pool Fiction are better. Cubby will need to bring his stronger team this week I feel. Jamie, Andy, cubby himself I think should all turn up. True Champs have Pommy, Itchy Balz and u_cant_beat_the_system, this however wont be enough. Pool Fiction wont lose two on the bounce, they will take this and i think if BNR can win 4-1, then PFN will win 4-1 maybe even 5-0.

Dead Strokes vs Break and Run

Now, now, now this is the week 2 Match of The Week. What can I say here? Dead Strokes looked far more impressive in beating PFN 3-2 than BNR did in winning 4-1 vs TC. Ok granted BNr won by more and it was never in doubt but that was seen as a winnable game for Break and Run whereas Dead Strokes was not meant to beat PFN and to do it before game 5, just awesome. If DS come out witht he sort of team they did last week then BNR will have to unleash players like Chip, Josh and the.rage(who did play... and win last week.) this will depend on who wants it more and I knwo that both Dina and Roy will want it more. However Dead Strokes will bring the better team and take the victory.

Latino Pool Legends vs Sexy Poolerz

Please SP show with 5 and you will win! LPL under optimus are doomed! They only won last week because FR ran out of players. So Sexy Poolerz I feel will show with 5 and if they do then Optimus( who actually has a very shitty sportsmanship record and can be a right idiot) and i do have evidance to back that up from WPC :). Get Tino back in charged and let the nice LPL show but it will make no differance they suck at the moment and SP will take this.

Ok lets say Freedom show with 3 this week which will be a great improvement on last week. It wont matter anyway Pool Kings and Adam will walk over Freedom anyway. Why join a interleague when you dont have the players to play lol. It is insane!

So all the Diamond Division sorted lets look at the Emerald cause I have a few gripes here too lol.

So lets do the easiest game first. 8BC crushed Ultimate Outlaws. This was a mismatch and if that was a mismatch then UO are in making up the numbers because they only get harder from this week guys. I like you but you do have your work cut out. What can i make of 8 Ball Crushers win? Its difficult to say but they have some talent in black_stallion and 8bc_moto are good solid players. Watch out for 8BC this season.

My team MP got trounced on by Brit kinky Pool but again i have a few issues. Kinky Pool are in IPA by themselves, now I think there plenty active enough to have to go alone in UIC(my personal opinion) but they joined up with Brit Pool and thats that. They looked good on saturday tho and will most definatly gave the playoffs a good run. They have players like Jeremy and Steven. They will do well. As for Magic Pool, it will be a struggle so they can grab a playoff place but i doubt it.

Not going to talk about EC vs CM as EC couldnt be bothered to show up Cue Masters get the credits and the 6-0 win.

Well for Rank Monster to be in UIC is amazing but they are crap. Sorry to be so blunt there awful. I dont actually think EPC are much better but there had to be a winner. Take out Croz and there isnt much of a team. These two teams will struggle just like jacks predictions lol.

Hmmm. very interesting game here. Luke will be there as the great guesser was misinformed about luke not having any net and he will be important for CM this season. They got the bye last week whereas 8BC won all 5 of there matches so this will shape up very well to be a good match. Lisa must bring her best 5 includiong Craig, luke and u might lose. 8BC will most probably name a unchanged teamt hey did everything right last week they should do the same this week. The result I will go for 3-2.

Elite Pool Legends vs Kinky Brit Pool

Yes its back the upset special for UIC. KBP will be expected to lose this badly. I aint so sure, yes EPL are stacked but two leagues together Drew has a good amount of players to choose from and Steven and Jeremy will no doubt be there again. KBP are going to have a great season and after beating a MP team who was only missing Mike and Ian really they will dispatcht eh stacked team of ED this week.

Xtreme 8 Ball vs Rank Monster

So the match where one team sucks and another starts saying there that good they dont have to show lol. X8B should win this but they have been very cocky(well one player anyway!) and this season I think they will under achieve. Rank Monster have Jess i think shes the best they have. X8B have one shit talker and a few good players in the magician. Easy to predict here. RM shock X8B

Welcome back after the christmas break and all interleagues are kicking into action this week and UIC enter a stage where there are teams that have surprised and teams that have dissapointed. PCZ and SP are two teams that have dissapointed big style. there 0-4 and play this week in the match of the week. Lets look at the matches in the DD first this week for a change.

8BR (4-0) at home to BNR (2-2)

No shocks on the cards here this week. 8BR are too strong there record says it all 4-0. Ant, Kev(sixohtwo) and j.hyper are important for 8BR there also unbeaten. 8BR should get to the playoffs and should proberly win! BNR have shown there belong in this division they have beat FR (ok on a dq but they all count) and before christmas they beat PK 3-2 but i see no shocks here.

Match of the week goes to the two teams that i personally thought and expected to fill the top four spots with PFN and 8BR. PCZ seem to be in a rut at the moment theres not a lot of tourneys in there home room and the lack of activity will mean that players will come unprepared. No getting away from it the did well in the regular season in PRO but can they do it in UIC even with losing players like lilsparky. Pom is at PCZ but will he play much i dont know. SP on the other hand i have no idea why there this low down but i fully expect Ste, Ketan and Aaron to show this week and beat a very weak PCZ side

LPL (3-1) at home to FR (2-2)

Good match up here FR will want to get back to winning ways even more so after there 4-1 win against SP just before christmas but can they beat a strong LPL side that think they can go all the way? Petey and Ash need to bring the players to the table to make LPL think we have to attack if they dont then LPL will walk all over FR. LPL will bring Tino, Korben and Player dude tot he table and will need to be on form, if they are then its a simple result.

This has my Upset special tag this week. PK lost to BNR just before christmas and they will need to come out firing and they WILL! PK will look to get revenge on that defeat and PFN are the unfortunate team that is here for the taking. Can Cubby bring 5 players to challenge PK? Yes he can but PK i just have a feeling that they will over come a big PFN assault on them and PK walks away with a narrow victory today.

PDZ play BP here and people will say I am crazy but PDZ have improved a lot lately and not only is this the match of the week in the ED but PDZ CAN upset a out of sorts BP side who have been beaten convincingly lately and i just feel PDZ will show BP that teams are going to under estimate them and PDZ are going to win this it will be ugly and BP will not agree but my upset specials 70% of time pay off and this will be one that pays off.

Ok what do I make of LS. Well there second from bottom and after this week they still will be and may even be last because TC are in form and go into this match as favourites. For sure LS have the better players but TC are a unit of good players who work hard whereas LS are really a side of individuals who when they perform can beat anyone. If LS 'turn up' today then yes they will win but there not having a good season in UIC and i will go for the form book.

TC 3-2

DS (3-1) at home to CM (2-2)

DS are exactly where i thought they would be. There in the playoff places and will show CM that they will storm on catch EC(who i am shocked at there form) and take them to win the ED and most probably win the playoffs. CM however could make the playoffs but there are better teams, they will probably creep into the playoffs but this match they will need to be very good to beat DS.

DS takes this in 3, 4-1

EC (4-0) play at home against MP (3-1)

Well MP could be 4-0 if they didnt play a ineligable player so they are actually playing the other undefeated team in UIC other than 8BR. Thats EC yes EC wtg EC however Ian, Mike and Jordy will condemn EC to there first defeat.

LS vs DS

-------------------MATCH OF THE WEEK-----------

A few good matches in the ED this week but nothing compared to the DS vs LS match which in reality should mean the one of these two teams winning the lot. LS suffered a shocking 5-0 loss to MP last week and what must simon make of that. Can likes of Simon, Chris, Raymie and Tam play and be on top form tonight we will see as they play a DS side which is 2-1 with there loss against a decent BP side. Roy, Rick, Noth and Snooky are the most important people for DS and i think DS will steam roller this one. LS are in a slump and DS are going to take advantage here!

MP vs PDZ

Pool Dragonz i know better than most as they are in WPC and now make there UIC debut and it looks good for them here altho they face a MP side who are flying after wining 5-0 against LS who i thought would be favourites to win the whole lot this season but obviously not. Mick, Jordy, Ian, Jane all key for these but however i still feel they have far too much for PDZ and will wint his but it will be close.

EC vs BP

Well, Well, Well BP and EC are having indifferent seasons. EC are THREE - NIL and looking good too last week they beat TC 3-2 and this week they play a BP side who really ar enot doing well this season. Can EC bring 5 that have played before? They have played so many players in 3 games it's nearly funy BUT its working. EC should beat a BP team who need the likes of Drew, Kalpz and Jeremy to play and play well every week. I think EC will continue here as BP ar ejust in no form at all and will need a personal best to tip EC to the winning post.

TC vs CM

-------------------------SHOCK OF THE WEEK-------------------

CM play TC in a match that could really enhance there playoff chances here. CM lie in 3rd and have some very very good stats and players. Enabled, Cue noob and you_might_lose all looking good for CM this season and a successful season it will be for them too after lifting the COnsolation Cup last season they will play a stronger TC than before and a TC team which contains some good talent in itchy_ballz, Mike and zuess. TC are doing ok this season and get my Shock of the week title for the ED and will turn over the decent CM team.

LPL play PCZ to kick off my previews of the Diamond Division and a close match on the way heredespite PCZ at 0-3 and LPL at 2-1. LPL have enjoyed a better start than usual and will look for Tino, Chex, Player_dude and Korb3n to bring home 3 wins however they play a PCZ team who have Danielle, Pommy, Croz, lee and heather to look for 3 wins. This is looking like a close game and i will go for the shock of the week here and PCZ pulls themselves back into it.

Well any thought of match of the week going anywhere else is ridiculous as its PFN and 8BR and when two heavey weights meet i will let you work that one out! PFN are stacked this season and with Cubby, Roger, RyRy and Palp they have a great shot of taking down the 8BR and if they get Derek in to start then maybe a 5-0 well you never know both are capable of doing it as i move on to 8BR with lilsparky, ant and sixohtwo this will be close and PFN will make it not close.

BNR beat FR last week and this week they play PK ho again are in the playoffs but BNR are holding there own against teams and ran PFN close. PK have likes of omar, sukioo and Adam. Play likes of Me, Mally, Ross and Kc this will be close and will come down to game 5.

EC play TC in the ED and this will be interesting. EC have started very very well this season and are at 2-0, now everyone knows im not mitch's greatest fan but by no means do i hate him cause i dont! Hes picked up stevie from PFN and thats a good move and has also picke dup Koty who did lose his first game but EC sit at 2-0 they had a credit win this last week just gone and will look to win this game easily against a stronger TC team than i first thought would be and they will look to itchy balz(what a great name!) to show the way this week and hope some of his team mates can help EC pull of a unexpected victory.

------------------------SHOCK OF THE ED WEEK---------------------

Next up for review is the MATCH OF THE ED WEEK CM play BP and this will be close! CM won the Consolation Cup last season and have every chance under lisa and Bev to go all the way in the ED this season these two will definatly be int he playoffs and i have no doubt with Enabled for CM and Drew for BP this is going to be one of the closest this week and is definatly one i will be attending. Along with Enabled, Sic_shot and sexy_college honey they will face Drew, Tim, Jeremy and Kalpz. On pape rthis has BP written all over it so this is my SHOCK OF THE ED WEEK and CM will win this one.

The third match to be reveiwed is BNB vs DS and if BNB turns up i will keep this one as my one short post as DS will BEAT BNB in 3 and win 4-1. Roy can play his 'C' Team(which hes in :P and get away witht his one!)

MP vs LS is last up for the Emerald Division and again this is going to be one of the matches of the week. LuckyShots under simon beat CM last week and MP beat TC both 3-2's both should have lost. MP with Jordy as captain and LS with simon as captain have a battle of the wills here and will no doubt go to a 5th game decider with i would say simon playing mike and that will be worth watching. a simon vs jordy would be too. can MP win? well ther ein form and LS are not i think they lost in week one to EC so this will be close i will edge it MP's way

First up this week is the upset special as PK take on SP and on form PK should boss it but i have my doubts this week as SP have picke dup controversial dan but as hes not capt they should still be in at the end of the season :P this is such a good game to start. Pool nutz, Omar and Adam will need to step up to the plate tonight and beat the likes of Ste, Ketan, Danny and Pool.chicky. Will this go to 5? No it wont i am giving SP the big edge here and shocking PK!

This is a strong match up to start us off and a match wher ei expect these two to be amongst the top 4 this season. BP with Drew, Tim and co will look to gain a early advantage over a strong MP side. MP captained by Jordy this season will bring the likes of Ian, Mike, Danny and Jordy himself and i feel with this will have the edge this match.

Welcome to the Grand finals and only 3 matches to predict this week as BP beat MP in the ED grand finals last week 2-1 in matches and i would like to congratulate BP on winning. So what matches are going on this week? In the DD Premier Cup we have LPL vs EPL. I must eat humble pie here and admit i was wrong about EPL when i said they wouldnt bring anyone THEY DID! LPL get to a finals again and can u bet on the winning this? Well they are 1-1 this season in UIC against EPL. LPL need Tino, Chex and Player dude to show up along with Korb3n. IF they do then they have every chance of pulling out a WIN. EPL need there team to show and i think they will. How will this match go? It will be tight, and will depend on how tino plays the away leg of the tie. LPL should win the second leg of it but i see EPL winning the 1st and 3rd legs and taking the series.

This might be a very good match as BNR have a good lineup and PFN have a good lineup. BNR have Luis and simon. PFN have ryry and kev who have played very well this season. What will happen in this match? Well PFN have home advantage in games one and three and BNR in match two. I think maybe with luis on the team he can coach some people from BNR. PFN will take Ogges and Jamie to the table. These will be important and i'm sure this will go to a third match also.

This will be close. If PFN get out of the blocks and go 2-0 up then it will be curtains but if the likes of me and david can get BNR to a 1-0 or 2-0 lead then BNR have Luis and Trump who can finish out games. Annie has looked good lately too along with heather. In all honesty i see PFN with the stronger players and over-coming a resilliant BNR side but it will be close and will go the distance.

The stakes are higher here as te loser will go out! DP have the better team, however DS are int he better form and should win this here. They have roy who has played exceptionally well and also have rick and palp who will cause a shock and DP will collapse to DS today in 4.

So DP and BNR lose they will also play at 6pm tonight so this is a projected prediction.

BNR i think have the better quality of players and deserve to be in the grand finals to play PFN next week. DP have good players but not enough to outclass BNR. LUIS will clinch in a 3-1 win for BNR.

Close match here! I see MP and BP going the 5 games and i see it being a long first playoff for that finals birth next week. BP just missed out of the Premier cup so will want a win against MP, who if they show with likes of Ian and mick will shock BP further here and will progress into the final.

UIC FINAL WEEK

WOW its the final week of UIC season 8 regular season and it is still all to play for for 4 teams as regards the Regular season champions. In the ED its out of DS, PFN who play each other if DS win then BnR's bye may well jsut be enough to secure the title but it may not. In the DD FR can still nick the title off EPL who play LPL on Saturday.

In the ED all the playoff places are pretty much locked with the exception of BP who play DP if DP show. Depending ont he team they show with DP could still sneak a playoff place but my prediction will show all.

In the DD the playoffs are locked with FR and EPL and DC and UP.

Big match here BP should get in the playoffs as long as they do not lose heavily, which i dont think will happen but BP will need to be wary. Tim will need to get people eligable but make sure that he can get the win to garentee the playoff spot that BP richly deserve. I have to go for the most consistant team here and i think it will be a struggle.

PFN vs DS *MATCH OF THE WEEK*

Big match here! if DS win they have a shot at top although i think they would have to win 5-0 and i cant see it. PFN just need a win to stave off BNR and DS to claim the regular title. Sean will need his big guns here and will need to get people eligable. I think PFN have to much here but they are in a slump and for that reason i go for the upset of the week in ED here.

Welcome to U.I.C and i am sorry for not posting last week i was away and i forgot so this week will be a long write up and a look at the teams that look like being in the playoffs.

I must first start by saying that do_ur_best1 got caught at long last with the aimer that everyone NEW he had. He was 7-1 or 8-1 and it was kevin in game 5 last week for PFN who defeated the cheating scumbag who does not deserve anyones respect he has cheated for i dunno how long but he has been found out and is a low life scumbag who everyone new was a cheat i mean hell even his own team thought it. Last week a genuine legit player in kev from PFN played this low life scumbag and absolutly destroyed him. Even Ben's Pool Buddy was not able to defeat Kev. Kev for MVP for UIC! Hes something like 7-0 or 6-0 and is as legit as they come and to beat a known and now proven aimer it deserves a lot of bloody credit. DP will get over this as even with his aimer he was beatable. I remember BP and BNR could and probably should have beat Ben when they played. But his double AIMER banks got him out of trouble. YOU WILL NOT AND I REPEAT WILL NOT BE MISSED BEN YOU ARE A LOW LIFE SCUMBAG WHO CAN ONLY WIN BY CHEATING. This will teach the 'few people' who think they can play with a aimer and get away with it that YOU WILL SLIP UP EVENTUALLY AND GET CAUGHT SO DONT DO IT. Ben got away with it for far to long and i must applaud the HA of DP for booting him straight away and then showing us the players, the majority that are clean legit players the proof too. His none existant reputation in tatters and i doubt he will be seen again he should hold his head in shame and this is a lesson for all 'AIMERS' out there dont do it!

OK RANT OVER AND NOW FOR THE PREDICTIONS I WILL DO IT IN ORDER OF RELEVANCE OF THE PLAYOFFS.

EMERALD DIVISION

It hotted up in UIC Emerald division last weekend. Big wins was picked up by the top 4 which i feel is basically going to lock in the 4 at the top as it stands.

Thats how it stand with 2 weeks of competing to do, with PFN leading DS on win percentage with BnR just 1 win behind and BP a further win behind in 4th place. PFN won 5-0 last week and DS and BnR won 4-1 with BP getting the BYE win and this i think locked up the top 4 unless DP whos one win behind BP get wins in the last two matches and knock off BP into the Consolation Cup but i can't see this. I see PFN and BnR finishing 1st and 2nd and i see DS 3rd with BP 4th.

Ok Now for the Predictions.

BP (4th 28 points) VS BnR (3rd 32 points)

This is most definatly match of the week int he Emerald Division! BP are in a small rut at the moment they had gone 3 losses in the last 5 matches and find themselves the most vulnerable to losing out to DP but i doubt it. Kev(xlx_gameover_xlx) has apparently left and made his feelings known about it with some stern talking! BP need Jeremy and Tim to show up for definate to have a chance as BNR have shown the early season form they had and will beat BP here with Luis in.

The rest of the matches well PFN will smoke BnB and MP may show up may not but will lose to DS period thats a certain and DP get the Bye and need after the soap opera that has happened.

Diamond Divsion

Now onto the Diamond Division and this is a two horse race for the last two slots in the Playoffs Freedom and Elite Pool LEgends have the playoffs sorted then theres this big dogfight for the other playoff spots between LPL, DC, UP and EC. I think LPL and UP will get them but don't count out EC and DC as they can win against anyone, and EC are interesting they dont have any recongisable players but they come have fun and have won some matches they wasnt expected to win. DC are the team that are the biggest threat to LPL and UP and will take them all the way.

Ok Here are the DIAMOND DIVISION PREDICTIONS

LPL (3rd 28 points) VS UP (4th 24 points)

MATCH OF THE WEEK by a long way and will be so close and will be a cracking contest where Tino will bring his best 5 players and UP will bring a team. UP have not really brought there strongest team to UIC this season and have struggled really and i cant see it changing here I can see them taking a 1-0 lead and the LPL takes over.

DC (5th 20 points) VS FR (2nd 36 points)

So FR are in the playoffs and will surely just get people eligable but will still be a hard team to beat however DC are on the ball really and altho they have seen a slight downturn in the players there they have a strong enough team to cause petey and ash problems and ont he basis i think DC will want it more i will go for them just!

EPL (1st 40 points) VS EC (6th 20 points)

On paper EPL should really wipe the floor with EC but i dont think they will again like FR they will wanna get people eligable for the playoffs and EC have surprised in recent weeks and ran teams close! I see this being close and i see EC edging out EPL as they 4th place fight hots up.

Welcome to yet another week of U.I.C predictions and i start by saying how unfortunate it is that a TC team that WAS picking up speed this season has dropped out. I have no idea why but you certainly made me change my mind and i also think you that PFN was right to get the DQ as rules state 20 games must be played in the home league. Yes most captains probably dont check but i know i do for BNR and sean or jamie or kerry for PFN will. In UIC they dont ask a lot about eligability thats why with one game a week teams like BP and to an extent FR can particapate. OK end of that onnn to the Predictions.

This is a good match up. DC are going well in all interleagues and will most definatly see themselves as favourites here. In LPL we have a team who will perform one week like in PLC last week the slaughtered EPL but on another week they just wont turn up. This will have to be a close match up. DC will i think bring the better players but i see LPL somehow grinding out yet another result they may not deserve.

Interesting match this one. If it was 3 weeks ago hell even last week ago i would say FR.....But UP have found form lately and i dnt think there gonna stop the form and i see it continueing here as FR gets upset and UP take this. I will say takes it pretty convincingly too.

I see this being close. EC are not a good team but CM are still finding there feet in UIC and EC if they show will really pile on the pressure but i see CM using this to there advantage and pulling off there first UIC win. CM are a good team and give them prolly next season and they will be there challenging.

This is surely only one result although it will prove more difficult than beating SS but it should still be a walk int he park and i will plump for watching dan this week as hes looked in good form lately i know nothing of CM and will say they will win there first ever uic game here

This is the best match up on paper and i see this going to the wire. PP are in a 4 way tie for 4th place and EC are just 2 wins outside and really need this this week. PP should bring the better 5 although EC have sown they can hold it with the best of them this season and have been unlucky on some occasions.

Big match up here as DC and UP look to get a bit of daylight from the chasing pack of the 4 going for 3rd and 4th place and i think They will both bring there best 5 possable and will go all out for the win. UP have the advantage of home table but DC have this uncanny nack of winning away fixtures. This will be a cracking match up and i think it will go to game 5.

Ok some people wont agree on this but i see this as the match of the week. BP must win to stay in contention for the #1 spot currently looking like a BNR and PFN dogfight. And MP must win to keep there slim chances of just playoffs alive. What will happen well its simple Jane brings ian dak and mike atleast. Tim brings himself kev and drew and we have a game and i think BP will tip MP her ein a game five thriller that kev wins.

This is a good match up as DS are after revenge as BNR took the 3-2 win earlier int he season and with luis on the team its gonna be great if he plays and if he doesnt i stil think BNR have a chance to win this whole division although with PFN in such good form lately it will be hard so i will still go with a close win here.

What a first match for Break n Burn and its one that could be winnable. This is my upset of the week and i say that DP show but are lackluster and will get narrowly beaten by BnB here.

Well week 8 was fascinating and in the ED we have a 4 way tie for 1st with BNR,DS,BP and PFN all on 20 points.DP, TC and MP all just 1 and 2 wins away from playoff spots you can forget about EP tho they been useless this season. In the DD you got EPL top and should win this from that position. FR should hold on to the playoff spot and PP if they turn up with a strong team will do too. the we have this fascinating battle involved UP for 4th other teams involved are LPL, DC and EC and i would got for LPL out of them. ok to the preds.

This is actually a rather interesting match to start things off today EC are not what they would like to be but then again FR have faultered somewhat lately. Kimbo is a class act no two ways about it but after that you have petey who has played very well then Ash who lost a decider last week and he needs to start getting his form back. Yes hes only lost three but hes been pretty shakey of late. Who else to FR have cory and craig and they aint exactly spectacular so basically if ash chokes or petey decides to have a off day EC could get something here. EC themselves dont have much but however this is the upset special and i see EC pulling this from somewhere.

Good match up this i see this going all the way the game 5 as both sets of the best 5 players are as good as each other. Jordy, Lewis, Uber and Jeanna these hav e a good shot at showing EPL there second defeat although i really dont see this. EPL with Ant, Dan and conners will do over DC and make DC start to wonder if the playoffs are really a bridge too far.

Big week for BNR who have lost three on the bounce i think and will wanna put EP to the sword with Luis, Simon, Jason and trump those 4 should win and the whoever the 5th is if it is Kcc it will be a joyful day for BNR. Can EP get anyhting out of this i doubt it as BNR captain Dina has got together a great group of players for this season and will really push on and i think PFN vs BNR playoff finals and that is a mouth watering finals.

Top of the table clash at the end of today there will only be 2 or 3 team level on points and i can see Kerry, roger, derek, james and probably jamie or sean wiping the floor with tim and his gang. PFN was ran close by BNR last week but thats because these are the two strongest lg in this division by a long way so i see BP's win vs BNR as a fluke and i will plump for PFN to win this and if i get chance i will report on the last 3 matches after i think gl BP you will need it.

I can see this being a ugly match. Yes another upset alert and this is there TC have improved immensely and DS slipped up last week and i can se ethem possably slipping down now so it will be interesting what both teams bring to the tables. I can see TC with home advantage and a little bit of momentum after beating MP and BNR in last 3 weeks i can see them doing over a strongish but not as strong as BNR, BP and PFN DS team i see DS losing this and being the vulnerable team in this division for playoffs.

PP (4-3) VS LPL (4-3)

This is going to be a good match. PP won last week VS DC and will look o carry the momentum onto this week against tino and co. Whereas Tino and Co. beat EPL last week 3-2 in my upset special and will look to repeat that this week and I think Tino and company will beat PP and start to make inroads into the top 2 in the Division.

DS pulled level with BNR this weekend just gone and with PFN closing in too its a 3 way scrap and DS are looking good dispite losing to PFN ok so DS pulled level the week before but lets face it they have looked one of the best teams in UIC this season so DP who sometimes show and own or sometimes show and cant be assed or not show at all this is one where they show and give a good game but get beat in game 4.

This is the match to watch as TC knocked off BNR last week and MP beat EP 5-0 but i can see sheer determination on TC's part really showing as one by one in close matches TC win the close games and only mike and ian win as TC win 3 to 2 and TC really start to become a force in UIC. So TC takes this one this week.

This is a awesome match up its simon, jason and luis formally of PFN and Trump for BNR VS the likes of Roger, Kerry, James and sean of PFN. How will this match go well way its been this season is Jason usually starts for BNR but its never garenteed with BNR. Where as sean and kerry have a stacked team for UIC and that has seen them take BAB's record from 0-3 to 4-3 and they are looking strong for the win here. Can BNR beat PFN? Only if JAson, Simon, Luis and Kcc or Trump can win. So based on form and numbers and desire i will go for this result this week.

This is a match of no significance ash and all the big guns could sit out and still win. SS are in wayyyyy too deep.

This is one of the matchups of the DD PP are starting to crumble in interleague play and DC are having a little slump of there own. PP will need there top 5 to be at the table come 6pm on saturday and if thats the case Then DC will need to be very wise in this and pick there players carefully.

Usually this is a UP win for Definate. But they have bought next to no players worth talking about in regards to interleague play and when they have they just aint performed. This is LPL's chance to make a statement to UIC world and say we are goin g to overhaul the EPL powerhouse. This match is key in the DD as it means if EPL win the rest can forget about 1st spot. If LPL win then its game on and lets see how EPL deal with a defeat. LPL i think will play the 'A' Game this week and shock EPL.

This is going to be a very interesting match up which can go both ways. EP was unlucky last week where they played better but had to be playing PFN and not MP or TC. MP lost 3-2 to DS and I expect them to take revenge on EP and slaughter them.

Well PFN's first real test this season really. DS are sitting joint top with surprise package BNR. I can see DS bringing there top 5 players and giving it a real go but PFN's team is just too stacked for DS and it would take a few errors to make DS win.

TC (2-4) VS BNR (5-1)

TC vs BNR is going to be a game BNR cant take for granted but should take this game in 4 if all of the strongest players show. Its a good peice of work dina getting luis and trump and then TC have Alex i think and he said they aint the worse so lets see this week.

BP (4-2) VS DP (2-4)

BP beat BNR last week and was well worth the win. DP won 4-1 and again was very good value for the win. This will depend on DP bring there 5 strongest players to play BP's who dont have that many but have quality all over the team. This I think is where DP say 'WE ARE FUCKING BACK' and take it in 4.

Lets look at the matches.

EC (3-2) VS EPL (5-0)

Good match up here. After being harsh to EC last week i am taking everything back this week they showed up with a bang last week and beat no didnt beat destroyed LPL and there chance at catching EPL. Now LPL will be hoping EPL beat EC and i think they will EPL have great players and with that i dont think the make shift team can perform a godly result twice in two weeks.

MATCH OF THE WEEK

This is the match of the week basically because who ever loses can forget the playoffs in my opinion. UP have been awful this season. Aaron is the only player worth mentioning and if you look at the roster of whos played they should be better than this. Aaron is the only one whos won really on a consistant basis. LPL on the other hand have the edge big time they have been unlucky except last week where they were shocked and beaten. Tino will turn up with his big hitters this week and will show UP they are not what they used to be in UIC which is a shame. Its the worse title defense i know of.

This is gonna be a epic. FR with mark petey and ash. Thats 3 top players straight off and DC will have to choose wisely with there best 5 players as FR have been formidable this season with ash almost unbeaten and sparky and craig coming to them this is a team going places. They play a DC side who are going well in all interleagues they are in. Real fkin deal is always a good bet for a win then theres lewis they are two ppl who i think can take ash or mark out paul who moved from EC his record dont give him justice. Gonna be close.

This is gonna be my crazy prediction..... SS will win one sooner or later and this is a PP team in a little bit of bother at the moment and with players not player and other circumstances i feel steven has a chance to grab a cheeky win here.

Yes BNR match of the week and why not they are 5-0 and altho was very lucky last week because of DP not being prepared they won 3-2 and you look at there team. Theres me im 5-0 theres luis whos signed up mikey(trump) and redhot. They play BP and tim and will be really trying to be the first team to get BNR's winning record which will be difficult as BP are the away team i feel BNR have enough quality to brush BP aside.

Will they or wont they, that is the question yes im obviously meaning can DP actually turn up. Either way its not going to matter as DP just dont bring the players need for a playoff push. TC however I hvae gone almost full circle but i am predicting they win by either time out or some doggied pool playing action and rolls DP.

EP (1-4) vs PFN (2-3)

Well as expected PFN are catching up quick and along with DS and BNR its gonna be out of them three for the title. PFN playing james, ry and roger look a team to be beaten but theres not much chance only BNR with the new palyers they have could have a chance thats with luis me ross and si other than BNR can DS beat them? Maybe but PFN will stroll this one they could play there Z teama nd win.

Close match this will be DS with palp, robinho and zero.skillz have 3 wins there already most weeks palp is second in whol EMERALD DIVISION for wins only because he missed one week. DS have a strong squad for UIC and MP will have to bring Ian, daknight and jane to help them overcome these but all i see is DS putting a bit of daylight between themselves and the rest in 3rd downwards and keeping pressure on BNR so they can get own back when the two teams meet again.

FIVE Weeks into the season and we can now see whos strongest and whos just plain shit like some of the predictions shoutbox. Was a great week last week with some big results no more so than pfn coming back to UIC with a bang and look at the players. derek james kerry roger and ryry was a awsome team. also in the EMERALD DIVISION BNR are 4-0 and going well. In the diamond Division EPL are gonna walk this ant, musti and pool charlie however trump has defected to BNR. The big disapointment is UP they are not even in playoffs come on guys pull it together.

Diamond Division

SS (0-4) VS DC (2-2)

This has all the makings of a whitewash here. SS i think are hating the fact they play ina division that they are way outof there depth in. I mean look at who they have can u think of anyone? Steven sure but who else are remotely good enough for this Division. Steven has lost all 3 and craig has walked out or ran to FR who have a far better chance. DC ont he other hand are playing above my expectations in all the interleagues they are in. DC have lewis, jeanna and ypool.technician and with jordy added too as long as he hangs around they will make the playoffs with ease.

FR (2-2) VS PP (2-2)

Match of the Diamond Division week by a country mile. The two most under-rated talented teams in UIC. FR on the back of thrashing UP 4-1 and getting ste worked up about a aimer incident? i dont know i will let u judge on that. Ash and petey both won and lets be honest UP have been shocking lately in UIC. They play a PP side who will always be in the mix at end of season. They themselves lost to EPL so will be out to get there own back. PP must bring croz, michele and no.skillz to stand any chance here i feel FR will over power them.

This on paper looks close, on form looks one sided in way of EPL and i will not argue with that. EPL with ant, pc, trav(psuke) and musti will take a lot of beating. EPL have re-emerged this season in all interleagues are are destroying anything in there path and i feel a period of domination from the EPL'ers if they keep the core of this team. They play UP, who??? they havent turned up like the UP i know of. King and Ste lost and yes aaron won but man bring your a team this week i know of UP the team that wont accept defeat.

EC showed with a team last week which im glad about iwould like to say sorry for my prediction for that match last week. This week tho i only see one winner. LPL lost 3-2 to DC last week but i dont see that happening with EC this week. LPL under tino have uriell chex and god.gameee will have more than enough power to knock EC for 5. EC i never know who they will bring how many they will bring or anyhting i wish u luck this week as a LPL when in form are in destructable.

MP(2-2) VS PFN (1-3)

Mike, ian and co get a shot at PFN in UIC. Im sorry MP no chance you look at PFN's roster and you Tremble. PFN had derek, james, ryry all at the table last week and altho they mayb struggled to finish off the game against DP they most certainly had the strongest team in this Division. For MP to win there needs to be no bullshit like last week against BNR. MP must bring a captain capable for doing wat the job is. This is the difference you look at PFN and Kerry she is a wonderful captian and knows how to play the players she brings to the table. Same with dina from BNR and also to an extent Tino with LPL. MP basically no chance.

EP (1-3) VS DS (3-1)

This looks like a easy win for DS...but i am not 100% sure. EP picked up a stunning 5-0 win over TC who i now again rate as the worse in UIC i mean even SS would beat them and that tells me somoething at the moment. DS with palp and annie and roy whos only defeat was to BNR have every chance of winning this as long as the players stay focused and EP donthave the players to match DS players.

Good even match up here btween shock leaders and unbeaten BNR against under acheiving DP. DP have such a big league and are 1-3. WTF how well this is because the captainneeds to paly his men and woman a lot better than he does they need to examine whos on table who he could play against who. DP need the best 5 at the table. BNR have got trump added to there roster and with me(jason) on 4-0 and simon playing great and dina and redhot joining in this will be a momentus occasion for BNR.

Ok a good week for all teams last week with close matches and not really any blow outs. One new teama nd thats PFN back in the emerald division. lets see what i think for the matches this week.

DIAMOND DIVISION

EPL(3-0) VS PP(2-1)

Good match up here will be very even. EPL smashed 5 past EP last week and ar ein a superb run of form. EPL must bring there strongest 5 to the table and will have the luxary of matching there players or mismatching there players to PP. PP have done very well this season and have a lot to prove against this EPL powerhouse. PP will only win if EPL's captian makes the wrong choices in the match.

I have been looking forward to this one lol. MITCH GET UR FVKING TEAM IN ORDER. You are a uic admin and u wont even bring a team to the table. SS if they do it will b 2 players enjoy ur win and week off as i fully expect EC to go poof in next few weeks

What do i meake of these two teams. LPL with tino sergio and chex can beat anyone on there day. But this season in interleagues they have struggled to get a full team. should not be a problem here but i fancy DC to get revenge on LPL after zach thinks it was his fault they lost to UP in mlp and i can see a rebellion here and a convincing win to DC.

This is a mouth watering prospect of last seasons emerald division winners vs the diamond division winners. FR have ash kimbo and marky and those three are so important if FR are to win. UP lost last week and it wa sthe first week I said they would win. If UP show with 5 strong players yes I said 5 not 4 or 3 FIVE then UP should win this. But i got to use my underdog pick

BP(2-1) VS DS(2-1)

Interesting match up this one...... BP lost last week to MP 3-2 and DS lost to BNR 3-2 so what can we expect. I expect DS to come out fighting with ronin wtf and roy to take on dorv jeremy and gameover. This will go right down to the wire if BP pick wrong DS have the chance to take this if DS cant get there best team then BP will steam roller them. What will happen i really do not know.

This could have been match of the week but i decided not to. MP on the back of beating BP and BNR on back of beating DS will go down to the wire again im sure. MP will no doubt bring ian mike and daknight and BNR will need simon dina and hammernail. MP have home so can match or mismatch the teams this will be very close altho i think BNR will prevail with a strong 5th player.

So PFN are back in the weaker of the divisions but up against DP who bounced back from there 'no show' to win very easily 5-0 last week. PFN will proberly have roger sean kerry not sure about ogges but will have a strong team. DP will have nothsa do ur best and sukioo. Now can DP pull off a win? ofcourse this is yahoo pool! in reality PFN should own this division however this week i am gonna say DP are the upset and pulls this off

I think i might have been a little harsh to TC, there areplaying the worse team in UIC this week this is a small prediction. EP dont have any quality at all and TC have 2 mayb 3 palyer but enough to win in game 3

MATCH OF THE WEEK

LPL (1-1)vs FR (1-1)

This is the best match up of all of the matches. LPL under tino who was the only defeat definatly looked good. They have a strong team this season and as long as all of them turn up every week and this week espeicially then they could do over FR here. FR however with ash eski and chipped did over a stron EC team last saturday and should kick on from there disapointing week 1. FR i feel will bring the better players so there for

Well last two week i predicted UP to lose i was wrong. Aaron ketan and dandi all picking up the wins to send up into a unbeaten 2 out of 2 start! DC have had a shocker............jeanna lost both uber lost sexydc pooler lost only lewis and spin have got anything. i cant see anyhting other than a dominant win by UP here even with there 7th team!

This is a complete mismatch. EPL with psukhe mvpsicc and black jesus will rip SS apart with out trying. EPL have come back as a league very strong and deserve a lot of credit. SS with steven and craig if craig doesnt get dqed may pick ONE win up but will i go for SS ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Agian a complete mismatch EC has this nack of dumping and kicking there best players i mean come on EC have Paul thats it maybe perry will win one or two this season but no way will he win more. PP have michelle on 2-0 and shocker on 2-0, They will find one more to win the match altho i think they will win it very comfortably. PP is a respected cam league and will wipe the floor with EC

Where exactly was ash and DP last week, they lose 2-3 and its like ash is still throwing a baby tantrum after he lost the decider grow up bring a teama nd make them play you into the playoffs. They play a very average EP side that nearly did a very good BNR over last week. Superhero streak and cueball have all lost there first 2 games lets hope its not just this 5 all season or EP are in deep doggy pooh.

A very very very competative match up here.............MP won 5-0 vs DP last week with a time out but anyone with ogges and ian and mike in the team will stand a big chance of 3 wins. MP is a big lg and will have mor eplayers to come i am sure. BP have had a stormer and are 2-0 with a 90% win to loss ratio ok they got a 5-0 vs BAB but won 4-1 week b4. MP will struggle against dOrv. tallibulilm im just jeremy and orrahhh. This is close tho so my only under dog pick and lets go wild.

PP VS UP

What a match to start on! PP beat LPL 3-2 last week with dinemite neo and shocker shocking the Latino nation 3-2 they have home table this week. They are in form neo is playing very well dina has a lot to her game and theres still people yet to be bought in to steady the ship even more. Any other day i would say a PP win against any other opposition. UP on the other hand were able to clinch with just 4 players despite Dandi losing, bob fazil and pool.chicky all won to take a 3-2 win against SS what will happen this week well i aint going to be stupid twice am i and call this my underdog pick?

Two teams that lost the first week. SS i thought had a great chance to overturn UP but it wasnt to be steven got a credit and in my opinion is SS best player they will go as far as he carries them. They wasnt unlucky at all last week. they were outfought and outplayed and deserved there defeat. LPL on the other hand URIIELL and Maldito both won, amazingly optimus prince lost! Tino didnt play and kike lost the game 5 to shocker. LPL must bounce back and against SS its in the bag!

1 Win 1 Defeat but the win was for EC as FR lost to EPL full of good players. EC won against where marco mitch and aop won. EC are looking good but i think FR after losing last week must bounce back somehow. EC must bring sleepyman mitch and marco to stand any chance. FR must bring marky ash and co and there just too strong for EC

They turn up with 4 palyers and expect to beat BP well a 4-1 DEFEAT proves that they are up for another hiding here.

Ok lets have some proper predictions, These are my own ones like them or read someone elses but they will b fair

EMERALD DIVISION

BAD ASS BALLERS VS BREAK N RUN

BAB were just awful last season, when they turned up they 9 times out of 10 lost and to be fair usually only turned up when they could be bothered. I would like to think now that joining season 8 means they will turn up every week and they should look at when they took 8BR to 2-3 and ran CC winners PFN close last season.
BNR on the other hand have a few good players in simon and redhot and teacher and dina should easily be able to out match BAB this week

4-1 BNR

BRITPOOL VS ECLIPSE POOL

BP was one of the losers in the CC last season and they cant really hope for any better this season, they will give EP a very good run for there money. I think BP has a lot more to offer the EP, BP just have the better players. With home advantage too BP should macth up the players well and come out of week 1 with a win

DREAMPOOL VS DEADSTROKES

Well interesting match here DP stormed late in the playoffs last season and i personally think it was down to when ashley joined them he gave them a kick up the ass that they needed. DP have a good squad altho they have lost ashley to freedom, i can still see them finishing in top 4. DS on the other hand were emerald division CC winners. I think there team is stronger but this will be the match to watch.
